Thunder m2 definitely. This coming from a guy who has both.

OK agree than Thunder M2 is really good but according to what I heard that Thunder is not that of a use in higher ranks cause the increase no. of protection paints from it.

I am not opposing about Thunder I actually like it myself but I wanted a valid reason.

Now whereas many people say that Fire M2 is much better than the M1. And can be used upto really big ranks.

I can still score with a Fire M1 so I am supposing what I can possibly  do after upgrading it to M2 then.

Hornet with Shaft M2 is epic :D The only thing I've touched from the drop dead discounts are shaft m2 and hornet m2, I earn around 400 per battle, in 30 minutes.

You already have a back-up turret to use (Railgun) so definitely go for Firebird M2. I also have both and Thunder M2 will not work at the higher but Firebird M2 will. The only problem Firebird has is when the Freezes steal your kills. Otherwise, it's simply epic.

Agreed but that freeze ain't gonna live peacefully if he did that cause I'll torture him with my After Burn.

What if he's on your own team? Or what if he had Inferno and Mammy M2 and Freeze M2? This combo is extremely common at my rank.

I would say yes. Mammoth is still good in DM, since you won't need a huge amount of speed. But if you're using a different weapon like Twins, then Titan is better.

 

What should I save for now Firebird M2 or Thunder M2?

And will it be correct choice to MU my Rail M2 or any other M2s (only once or twice)?

Fire M2 if you like attacking. Not a lot of Loams around, and from what I hear, Fire M2 is a good upgrade from M1. Thunder M2 is more dynamic (e.g. you can use it in more situations), but a lot of users have Thunder paint, which decreases it's effectiveness. And MUing Rail isn't such a bad idea. A lot of people think that MUs on M2s are useless, but this is not necessarily true. MUing Rail will increase the chance of taking down a M2 Viking in two shots and taking down a M1 Hornet in one shot.

Thunder is useless in high ranks? Have you ever seen Fatal's posts? He fully MUed the reload and is almost finished MUing the damage... And does insanely well even against enemies with Thunder protection.

I know that FatalTank is a really good player and he uses a Thunder with his hornet. Actually I am looking forward to that combo if I were to ever buy Thunder

Hohloma has sucky protection against uncommon weapons. There are much more firebirds when people get to the higher ranks, so I think Loam is better. But I agree that Hohloma does look much better than Loam.

Hohloma has a good protection from rico,freeze and smoky and these guns are very common at high ranks

Sure, it's also have 8 seconds reload and slow rotation, no mobility while sniping. 

While M3 railgun "without" MU"s can own the battlefield, with MU it will be destructive.
