Such a straight up statement. I mean, i'm okay with the second part, because taking flags with shaft is pretty hard. But the first part is an opinion, such statements should have an "IMO" after them, to make them an opinion since it's not a fact. If you have seen Raphaels videos, he has one with shaft/hornet, and it's great. I have used that combo and it works good, especially in maps where you need to move around quick to a new sniping spot, like polygon.

Guys Im quite close to getting Freeze M2 but I'm also thinking about Rail M2

What do you like doing best: Defending or Attacking enemy base? Freeze would be a better defender, but it has limited range but fast reload. Railgun has high damage but long reload. It all depends on your gaming style.

Freeze is better if you like drugging more because it will do so high damage.

Dirty or corrosion. Shafts are a big problem for hornets and dirty will keep them from one-shotting you. Corrosion protects against a wide variety of popular weapons. If I had to say a third, cedar is pretty good, I still use it myself.

I have 5K to rank, which will leave me with 51K cry. I only have M3 Thunder right now, but I don't know what hull to pair it with. M3 Hornet is cheap and I won't need to rank again to get it. But I like to keep my rating good and get good D/L, so I think Hornet might not be the best. I want M3 Viking, which is better for getting a higher D/L, but I will need to rank again to get it. Can someone please answer this? I use to really love railgun and I saved a lot of cryatals. I have 35 700 currently. I will get 3900 after I level up, so my question is: Should I get M1 Railgun or M1 Thunder? I die more with railgun. Plus I like defending and offending. I like medium-big maps, and I use my M0 Thunder with M0 Hornet. Please help!!! :mellow:

Sure, you dont have to. But it is an opinion. After physics, shaft can now be used with any hull. Since the charging is now the quick part instead of the reloading, you do not need to be out in the open so much, where you can get shot a lot. So, since the reload is now slower, you need to hide, go somewhere else, etc, quick so you dont get shot more, and so you can help the team all around more. For example, if you are on one side of a map, and there is help needed on the other, you can quickly go over there and snipe. Another example, you are in the middle of a map (silence) and you are sniping there, then you shoot, a railgun sees you can is about to shoot, but you gladly moved back quickly. Just a few examples of how hornet/shaft can be useful, and there are many that use this combo. Again, as I said in the beggining, shaft can now be used with any hull more efficently. So if you like to camp more, a heavy hull, like you said, is the right choice. Edited March 17, 2014 by doughnut2100

Think about what you're saying - if doughnut is told you what you said sounds 'straight', it's abundant that not everyone knows it represents the opinion of the poster.

 

What's happened is, you've said it like it's fact when it's only your opinion. No, you don't need to incessantly add 'IMO' after every sentence but you do need to communicate with such etiquette that people can understand how you're saying something. You're not the only one - but since you're expanded on that situation, I though I'd chime in.

 

Anyways, after Thunder M3 and Hornet M3, which TWO I get:

 

- Titan M2

- Savanna

- Smoky M2

 

I can go back after I get an M3 combo.

I think you're better off MUing your Thunder. But it's your choice. I spent 20K so far on my Thunder, and I can definitely feel the difference. If I were you, I would get Titan if you already don't have Mammoth. If you really want Smoky, then you could go for it, but with 57K, you're better off saving for other M3s. And for Savanna, idk. You might want to go for another paint with some sort of Thunder protection.

Titan or Mammoth? I'm asking because in the future, when we will be able to enter the garage from inside of a game, Mammoth will serve better for pure defense and is a bit cheaper as well.

 

Wasp or Hornet? Can Wasp work well enough on a battlefield and is it worth the extra price?

Or Viking instead of a light hull?

Wasp is better at M2, and so is titan.
