Current hull/turret combo is Viking M1/ Ricochet M1, I have about 20,000 crystals and am NOT a buyer, I am considering buying Hornet M1 along with Viking M1, I am not considering buying any expensive paints, I am waiting for TO's birthday turret/hull sale,(50% off) so, my question is, can I buy Hornet M1 and still expect to upgrade Viking M1, Hornet M1, and Ricochet M1 consistently to there M2, and M3 stages without going broke?

Yes...if u got goldboxes- 5000 ..you have 1 day to make that...soo..If I am in your position I will play hardly.. :P ...(all day all night) ;)

get freeze m2 and tundra. then save for m2 hornet and when equiped with tundra you can hold 3 rail m1 shots
