Final choices. I did some calculations on spending, and realized I'm short on crystals for Thunder M3/ Hornet M3/ Emerald combination. :lol:

Final choices are:

 

1. Ricochet M2/ Hornet M3/ Emerald -> With about 30,000 Crystals left.

I am extremely interested in Ricochet M2, though does it last until my Rank and up? I can drop the Emerald and save some crystals, leaving me with about 100,000 crystals left.

 

2. Thunder M3/ Hornet M3 -> Leaves me with 3650 crystals. Basically nothing.

I'll have to stick with my Digital paint. Heheh.

 

3. M2 Viking + Ricochet M2 (182,000 left) OR Thunder M3 (78,650 crystals left)

With Emerald paint -> Viking/Ricochet will have about 110,000 crystals left.

With Emerald Paint -> Viking/Thunder will have nothing left.

 

I tested out M0 Hornet and overall it was .  . .. Eh. . .

I have to adjust to the drifting a lot. . . It's not like Wasp with Wasp's accurate movements and high speed.

 

I know I can't make up my mind that well. :P

That's what we're here for :)

M2 Rico lasts well into the higher ranks, as I've seen.

If you don't really like Hornet, do note that in two ranks Wasp M3 is unlocked.

Viking M2 is a decent hull, and M3 is unlocked at your next rank.

Does Hornet drift MORE as you upgrade it, from M0 -> M1 -> M2 -> M3,

Or does it drift less and have more control of itself?

Nevermind, looked at the stats and comparing the drifting stats in comparison to Wasp, it should start drifting less I think.

So Hornet has 110 Turning ability at M3. Meanwhile, M2 Wasp has 121.

I guess 10 isn't a big deal.

 

Now I'm leaning towards M3 Hornet/ M2 Ricochet and M3 Hornet/ M3 Thunder. . .

With Ricochet, I can afford Emerald. With Thunder, I can't unfortunately. 

 

Or should I still go with Viking/Ricochet, and thus have 110,000 crystals left. . . I can use that to get M3 Viking at a 50% sale as soon as I rank up - though that'll take a while probably. .. .And Thunder/Viking will still leave me with nothing. GAH! Can't make up my mind. :P

well if you use heavy hulls  alot buy smoky if you use isida fire get hunter

SMOKY: This is an all round weapon. It can be used for Attack/Defence/Midfield. Works in every hull and map and is awesome with drugs. 

 

FREEZE: When compared to firebird it seems weak but it is really powerful if MU'ed a little bit. Works great on Light hulls and Viking (Especially in DM)

 

FIREBIRD: Same as Freeze just alot better. Awesome damage and burning time let it dominate any map. Best wIth Hornet IMO. 

 

ISIDA: Good for teamplayers. Best if you hang back and heal rather than attack. Its awesome with DP and if you micro the self healing it becomes unstoppable

 

RICOCHET: Best with Medium/Heavy Hulls. It has good damage and firing rate. It can shoot down alot more than most turrets and reach unreachable places with its bounce. 

 

PRODIGI: Since there alot of Railgun and Thunder users, this paint shines brighter than all other. Awesome rail protection and decent thunder and shaft protection. Best on Silence and Serpuhov

 

INFERNO: Opposite of Prodigi. Great against short ranged weapons and is slightby worse than Zeus. . Since there are lots of Freezes and Firebords in Polygon, this paint is the best. 

 

NEEDLE: Awesome protection vs Smoky, possibly the most deadly weapon on the battlefield. It also helps you vs shaft which can prevent you getting 1/2 hit depending on what hull. Aslo has good Ricochet protection which is good because rico is OP

 

I would recommend Smoky + Prodigi as they are the best of thier kind IMO. Hope this helped :)

You got only hornet viking m3? I think you need one heavy hull. And it must be titan. For turrets i suggest you firebird. Thats an awesome turret. And you need a paint...buy the paint which has a protection from most turrets, picasso maybe? Or taiga. Well you need more than 350k crystals but you wont get regret. :)

I don't think I'll buy other hulls in the near future. I decided to buy Picasso Paint. But, don't know if Ricochet M3 or Firebird M3.

 

 

In my opinion, at your rank you need a good paint and since you have got a decent amount of M3 turrets and hulls; it would be a smarter decision to go for a better paint.

Smoky is more versatile than Hunter IMO. Hunter needs MU's to be really effective but smoky is fine on its own

With the Christmas sales heading our way, it's time for me to make some huge decisions.

Currently I have M2 Wasp, M3 Isida, M2 Mammoth, M2 Freeze, M2 Firebird, M2 Smoky, M2 Railgun

 

Step 1 - Choosing my Turret:

Should I choose Shaft M3, Thunder M3, or the new Hammer M2?

Overall I'm looking to buy something that doesn't use ammunition like Isida/Firebird/Freeze. So Hammer is still acceptable even though it's considered a close-ranged item. I can use it in medium ranges too. I have great interest in both Shaft and Thunder. Both have abilities that I can use very well.

 

Step 2 - Choosing my Hull:

Using the information from step one, should I buy Hornet M3, Viking M2, or Dictator M2? My only real hulls are Mammoth M2 and Wasp M2. The rest are M0.

 

Step 3 - Choosing my Paint:

The most powerful paints that are available to me currently are Emerald and Irbis. I'm leaning toward Emerald, but can someone advise me what paint I should go for after using information used from Steps 1 and 2? My main paint so far is Digital. It doesn't have to be Irbis/Emerald.

so if i were you i would go with thunder m3 hornet m3 and emerald. Still good at higher ranks thanks to thunder's power and emerald's usefullness.

I think I will prioritise the options

1 get isida m2 and stay with your current hull because this will gain you tonnes of xp and help you rank up quickly

2 if you insist on getting hornet m2 and a m1 weapon, go get rail m1 ( though I think you should be considering m2 weapons at your rank instead of getting more m1s)

I suggest you get a paint that protect against your weapon. Or forester if you haven't bought it ( I think it is the most cost effective paint at low ranks)

So , my status now ... im a general with m3 hornet , rail and freeze ... i was planning on getting m3 smoky and viking as soon as i rank but this new turret thing had me rethinking my plans , should i get that thing m3 or viking m3 + smoky ??
