What to buy? Which is better?

Since I use Wasp/Isida primarily, controlling my Wasp isn't an issue. I used M4 Wasp/M4 Isida on the test server a while back, and I must say: it was a pretty awesome combination for attacking. The problem is, with the new update, you have little margin for error with wasp. It is really easy to flip, and you can't dodge every shot. Oh well, I'll just need to get better at dodging then. Thanks :)

Well if the devs think their allowed paints make sense (they do not) and keep it that way, then I turn to having a sale on paints now on, and having the rank for sandstone (I think). Whats the ranks for sav? The thing is I am a few ranks away, and XP is what I mainly play.

But hopefully, it turns out that they reply fast and change it soon.

i have isida m3 and i would rather sepnd it on self heal first and then damage..self heal really helps in 1 to 1 battles.

@ajitvik: Pretty good deal: Savannah and Emerald.

It gives you big coverage to two threats: Smoky and Thunder.

And they both give some extra Railgun protection that doesn't hurt. :D

If you don't yet have a hull,hornet would be perfect for your isi :)

 

I looked at M4 Isida's stats, and I must say: Wow!

M4 Hornet + M4 Isida will be a awesome combination.

Looking at M4 Freeze's stats, that rotation speed is fast. Maybe even too fast.

M4 Isida's DPS: 64

M4 Freeze's DPS: 68

M4 Freeze's reloading time: 11 seconds

M4 Isida's reloading time: 10 seconds

M4 Freeze's RS: 195.6

M4 Isida's RS: 134.6

M4 Isida's HPS: 66

I think M4 Isida wins that one out by a lot.

The questions is though: It seems Isida is probably better off on Wasp, not Hornet. That 50% self-healing rate at M4 is a lot. Probably benefits M4 Wasp more than M4 Hornet. Wasp flips a lot more though, especially with the new auto-aim update, so it could be rendered useless.

I must say, right now M2 Isida is beating M2 Freeze, considering those awesome stats at M4.

The problem: We all know Isida is an attack based turret, but it can only kill one person at a time. This is where Freeze comes on top: it can damage multiple defenders, whereas Isida can only damage 1 defender at a time. Isida's DPS almost mirrors Freeze and is not even that far away from matching Firebird. So that might not be much of a problem.

So far, Isida is beating Freeze. It is also nice to know Hornet is a good flag-carrying hull, so I can mainly attack with that combo.

I would suggest hornet with Isida. True, with wasp you can drain, but you are morely likely to be able to use your full 6 seconds of shooting time with a more substantial hull. Hunter is slow, too slow I think for the shortest ranged turret in the game.

 

Also, hornet is a lot more stable, better for keeping a hold of the enemy. With wasp, facing a good smoky or twins who will circle you and hit you with impact, it can be hard to keep aiming at him.

Of course it is useful, but once you get prodigi you probably won't ever use it again!

Don't upgrade that one thing all the way, I would definitely spend everything you have on the sale though.

 

Maybe do each of the parameters equally? Well, the important ones anyway. The first steps are the most cost effective, and are also generally the ones with the expensive speedup costs - you'll save more here with the 80% sale.

That's the issue I am having with Wasp. Wasp/Freeze can stop other tanks from circling because it will freeze the tank, and in turn, you can circle the tank yourself. Wasp/Isida can't do that.

Definitely your m2. Don't go past the first few steps, don't forget you lose all your microupgrades when you to go m3.

Yup damage and reload should be your first priority!
