What to buy? Which is better?

This is for my friend, who is currently banned. He is at the rank of Colonial at this moment.

 

He has M2 Viking, and is wondering which turret to combine it with: M2 Twins or M2 Smoky?

 

Which of those turrets (M2 Smoky, M2 Twins) goes better with M2 Viking?

 

He is a hybrid midfielder/defender player in CTF and plays DM regularly...

I got Twins m2 and never really liked it. It doesnt shoot the plasma balls fast enough (they dont travel fast). The only time it is really good it when you are drugging. 

 

I also have Smoky m2 and it is still dominating at my rank. It is really powerful and when i pair it with viking it can take out tanks before they get a chance to deal any damage. Despite there being alot of people with protection against it it can take you far into the m3 ranks.

Will Twins work with Hunter?

It will but it is better with a heavier hull IMO. Hunter is heavy which is good but not heavy enough for twins. Twins is a delicate weapon and when knocked off constantly by a smoky, ricochet or other twins it is hard to get anywhere which is why heavy hulls are better. It still is good but just watchout for that.

It seems like M2 Smoky/M2 Viking is not only A) a good tank for midfielding/defending, but also a nice drugging tank for DM's according to what I hear. My friend bought M2 Smoky, and he loves it!

I started playing tanki online on a different account from the beggining because I thought I spent all my crystals on stuff i didnt want.

I don't know what to upgrade I like attacking and playing in big maps.

Going to get Hornet M2 on a sale, what else should I get? I have Thunder M1, Smoky M1, Viking M1 and Hornet M1, or just stick with thunder?

Rail m1 is a good option. It is still good into the m2 ranks and i ocasionally use it (yes, i use rail m1) and i can still get over 1.5-2 D/L. If you decide to join a clan then it will help you in wars as most now are Xp/BP/Light Format. 

Another option would be freeze m1/m2 (if you can afford it). It is a great starter m2 combo. As most tankers will wait till they unlock the turret/hull they want to get m2 you will have a bit of an advantage over them for a while

İf you want to choose Hunter, you need ricochet paint and maybe firebird paint.

İsida paint can work.

 

İ am using Dictator and Mammoth.

I'd go for viking & smoky anyday. I have the combo and It is really awesome because players mainly have paints against thunder, not smoky.

When I hit your rank, I immediatly bought viking m2, didn't even wait for sale. But I used Thunder M2 when I was at your rank, I don't know how freeze will fit you with viking, because I never tried freeze before.

It would be wise to start saving up for M2's, you never have too much crystals. ;)

depends on your gameplay but i think freeze would be better off cuz you can stop enemies form taking the flag and freeze is an enemy against all turret's cuz you know that thing with freeze right? just circle around a tank and shoot :P and also does defeat isda with the same tactic

 

but the only thing about isida is that you can use your team-mate as a barrier or keep healing him while he is delivering the flag and also so you can heal him

Im trying to fully micro my shaft M1,(dont warn me of wasting crys  :) )

recenetly Ive found a friend that we go together to monte and she uses dictator rail (shes brigadier)and I use my isida M0

 

and I think I can work with Isi well enough,

 

Im thinking of MUing my shaft once every day and gather crys for Isida,

 

but should I buy its M1 without sale or should I gather more and at a good sale buy M1 and M2 together? :huh:

Seriously, if you want to be op with shaft m1, why not invest your crystals on buying dps instead of MUing it? For you question, you' d better upgrade your isida straightly to m2.
