Should I buy M1 Firebird or save my crystals for something else? My plan was to buy M1 Firebird now, and then save up my crystals so that I can buy M1 Hornet so that I can have an M1 turret & M1 hull combo, but first I wanna know if M1 Firebird is worth buying.

Not worth buying, in low ranks, I suggest using hornet/wasp m0 with rail m0 till WO3 (believe me, this rank will not be far away), then switch to wasp/ hornet m1 with rail m1 (or if you are lucky, buy the tornado kit), then you are ready to go. After this, you can buy anything you like as you will gain cry real quick.

My new account's goal will be to stick to M0's until I can get access to M3 Kits, thereby skipping the stages of M1 and M2.

 

Figured Isida and Freeze would be most viable, as the other guns won't do much and Firebird is just pure troll doing relatively 0 damage and unfreezing enemies with the flag.

 

And they can't bann me for actually trying to play to my best ability, and using the best items in my garage, noting that I will ONLY have M0 equipment. :P

 

Already obtained about 70,000 crystals on that WO2 account. The average M2 Kit sells for about, what, 140,000?

And the average M3 Kit sells for maybe 300-400,000? And if I can catch it on a sale, it'd be cheaper.

Then, a paint, and start working on MU's. Heehee.

m1 fire is very week early on but once you get m2, it's pretty powerful against your peers. I recommend you also buy a long-range turret so that you can have a more diverse game-play. Playing with just firebird for a long time can be just plain boring and sometimes painful depending on the circumstances.

The only Turrets capable of self-damage are Thunder, Ricochet, and most recently, Vulcan. You could say that Isida does as well, but it heals itself.

I don't know why people are against this, but I personally used M1 firebird till Third Lieutenant when I got m2 isida. Even after buying M1 railgun at Wo3 and m1 thunder at Wo4, Firebird will have its own advantage. According to me, it is pretty fun to use and earns more xp than railgun or Thunder.

My bit Mud M1 wasp with my 37% tundra barely survives M2 rail shots

Most of the times I die and lil times are when I survive.

 

So buy save for M2 rail but buy tundra if you can in a sale ;)

pls do the calculations...., rail max damage is 135(rare case), take that times 0.7( tundra 0 mus), u get 94.5 hp, tell me how u one shot wasp m1....., i am sure it has a few mus as well, if u meant 1shot BY double power than its possible

Actually I just realise that m2 rail max MUed damage is 157, with 30% protection then the damage is 109.9. My wasp has 116 Hp, so no one shot with tundra by m2 rail. :)

For full price. I highly, Highly recommend you wait for a 50% sale.......you will be able to save for your first M3 Turret or Hull with an extra 255k. :D
