Bp is pure fun, but the gameplay is highly unstable and may be sometimes irritable. Xp is a lot more balanced and stable, so choose by yourself.

Wasp is great if u like speed and its the best for CTF mode. But u should be planning for m3 buy now since m3 unlocks at next rank.

since the recent update thunder is alot better and has alot of range has good damage but the self damage is its drawback

hammer is amazing at damage but not so great at range and also all of the pellets might no even hit the tank you are aiming at

 

but this all depends on your gameplay style. but i would go for thunder cuz of its damage can 2 shot a hornet m2 (i think) also if you think none of these guns try for rico m2

dont get rico, get smoky/twins/hammer/fire for your m2 and titan/hunter/viking m2, < those listed would be most effective at your rank

I wont get Rico. There's too many of them, lots of paints against it, and I'm several ranks past it, so it wont be very effective. I will have for hulls Hornet, Hunter, and Titan, are you suggesting that I should get Viking too?

 

RIco M2 is fantastic if you get it when it first unlocks. Now that you are several ranks past that, it would be better to wait until you could buy M1/M2/M3 all at the same time.

I agree, or if I get spare crystals I'll buy it m2 later.

I recommend isida m2 if ur gona rank up to 3rd lt soon. At that rank its very effective and u can get lots of xpc and crystals. If u donft want isida get m2 hornet cos it has lots of health.

Im planning on ranking before the sale, and want to get a new m2 gun. What is a good gun that will last until I reach higher ranks? Or instead of getting a gun, get hunter? I mostly use rail, thunder, and firebird.

Note: I am not looking to buy hammer, and I already saved for thunder m2.

Do you like defending or attacking? For attacking, get hornet, and for defending, get viking. I honestly think rico hunter is really good, so think about that <3

i would think about getting hunter m1 but i woudnt be able to get it till i am WO4 and i need to get it at the sale so.. i think ill just get viking m1 and rico m1 sounds like a better deal for me and ill get dragon as my paint and just MU that.

 

I also have M1 smoky so i will buy M1 hornet for that then i will have two m1 sets.

I was recommended Twins... I've seen how devastating this turret actually is... I'm just concerned with its lack of longevity of "fun" with this turret; or so I've heard. Is it worth a buy?

I wouldn't mu until I have an m2 that is upgraded to m3 at a very high rank. You should upgrade paints that have around 40% protection. Edited May 29, 2015 by IronCommando

M1 Hunter would give you a considerble armor increase over your Hornet for some of your weapons including M2 Isida, But you might want to just hold onto those extra crystals until you get some more rank and/or a good kit  M2 deal comes along.

Just use Viking with your Smoky , no  need to buy Hornet for a Smoky , you would just be losing armor protection for a speed Smoky does not need.

Lumberjack or Zeus ? for poly cp.

I'd say Lumberjack. It offers a great protection from Firebird and Freeze just like Zeus. Instead of Smoky protection, it gives you 30% Isida protection (and 10% Vulcan protection). Smoky isn't such a big issue in Polygon CP, but Isida is. That's why my preference goes to Lumberjack. 

 

What is better rail m3 or isida m3?

It really depends on the kind of battles you mostly play, the maps you most commonly play in and the hulls you prefer to use. Isida is the best choice for Drug Battles. It's better than Railgun in Small and Medium maps and indispensable in team battles. Railgun is better in large maps, and together with hornet it allows you to play the XP format.

Yes. Isida m2 is great. Every team needs at least one. I really recommend it.  :)

Buy Freeze, unless all you have is med+heavy hulls, if you do, buy Freeze and Hornet.

 

M2 Freeze comes along pretty quick.

 

Forget Vulcan, it has been nerfed,,, more than Freeze :lol:

I just ranked to Captain and I now have 96k. If I get my contest prize on time, I will have 131k.

I currently own M2 Hornet and Isida. I also use Railgun and Thunder a lot. I was leaning towards Fortress Kit but it will cost something around 145k on sale, so that is out of question.

My M1 Hulls are Mammoth, Viking and Wasp, all of which I can't have M2 now.

My M1 turrets are Firebird, Smoky, thunder and Railgun. Everything else is M0.

I usually play Polygon and Noise.

What do you guys suggest? I am open to all options.

If you have Hunter, you do not need to get Viking. They are almost identical, with the following differences:

 

Viking M3 having 7.6 additional HP

Hunter M3 has .5 m/sec faster top speed

Viking M3 accelerates 1 to 3 m/sec² faster in all forward/reverse/lateral

Hunter M3 turns 30^o more per second

 

Once fully MUed (even though you said you do not MU much):

 

Viking M4 has 30 more HP

Hunter M4 has 1 m/sec faster top speed

Viking M4 accelerates 3 to 6 m/sec faster forward/reverse/lateral

Hunter M4 turns 30^o more per second

 

The differences are not enough to warrant the purchase of Viking as well. Even comparing the M2's, there is about the same difference (except in price). However, Viking M3 unlocks at Lieutenant General, two ranks before Field Marshal when Hunter M3 unlocks. So take that into consideration.
