What to buy? Which is better?

I just ranked to Captain and I now have 96k. If I get my contest prize on time, I will have 131k.

I currently own M2 Hornet and Isida. I also use Railgun and Thunder a lot. I was leaning towards Fortress Kit but it will cost something around 145k on sale, so that is out of question.

My M1 Hulls are Mammoth, Viking and Wasp, all of which I can't have M2 now.

My M1 turrets are Firebird, Smoky, thunder and Railgun. Everything else is M0.

I usually play Polygon and Noise.

What do you guys suggest? I am open to all options.

Go Thunder and Viking. That combo will work well for you on the maps you mentioned as long as you play more supportive, letting your teammates go into melee while you hang back and provide cover fire. Both also unlock their M3 versions earlier than most other turrets/hulls.

Freeze m3 or thunder m3 - which is better?   At sales i want to buy hornet m3 and freeze or thunder m3 but im not sure which one is better. I would like if someone that is a high rank would giwe me the pro's and con's to both weapons. My main weapon now is firebird m2 and after the buff to freeze, it looked like a pretty good weapon - more dmg, turret freezing that i really dislike when enemy is shooting at me. I used to play with thunder m1 from WO4 to first lieutenant till i got better weapons on christmas sale - it was a really good gun, i used to be first in polygon CP. I will not be able to save that much that i could buy both (unless i buy..) and i may change my mind if there's a really good kit like jackhammer but i would still like to know which one is better.

Thunder M2 would be the meanest thing to buy. Rail M2 + Hornet M2 would let you play  XP battles, given a paint for it.

I don't have any light hulls, but i do have Viking...

Someone else will have to comment on that. IMO, Viking is not fast enough to use with Freeze, but I am not a regular freeze user. I've got one , tried it, but I just don't like close range weapons or close range  fast combat myself. My connection speed is not up to it either, most of the time.

If I buy the following, then I could get a Parkour/Clan/XP loadout

(Hornet M2 - Rail M2 - Corrosion paint) & (Wasp M1 - Rail M2 - Tundra paint)

^Both loadouts can withstand a hit from a Rail and are played long range strategic

 

OR

 

Should I buy Thunder M2 and buy a paint that cost less than 45k?

I currently have Hunter M2.

(Hunter M2 - Thunder M2 - Corrosion Paint (?) )

^Is versatile and tough. 

 

Next goal: Sandstone paint (or just buy that?)

You could get Thunder M2 and Cedar, which is 42,500 crystals. Cedar is Rustle's baby brother for half of the price.

In same dilemma myself. I will be getting freeze m3/hornet m3/viking m2/ Emerald paint. Can't wait. I chose freeze over thunder because it seems like everyone uses thunder so paints against it are common. Also, I find it boring to play with when compared to freeze. But its up to you......

At base m3, both are pretty weak, only reasonable at around the ranks they unlock. Both need MUs.

 

I have both at M4, Thunder is honestly the much more versatile, useful and fun weapon to have - I'd go for that!
