What to buy? Which is better?

Okay, Firebird is very effective for defense, and sitting on the flag will help in defense while the team takes the flag. Firebird is also effective in causing havoc in the enemy team and destroying the enemy defenders, but just make sure they're killed before they get away.

Um, suv, you haven't seen Titan M4.... Yes, Firebird may not be the best one with it, so Rico. But Firebird is a very effective defender; having it will probably not let an enemy get the flag. Or do you play other modes?

I have definitely seen m4 titans... and saw it getting beaten by wasp m4 +rail ... when you say m4 titan you must understand that even tour opponent carries something equivalent. SO its pretty much the same game always. All i am saying is fire needs more speed to be effective as the most effective range is within 15 metres. if you only play poly and island then file... else go with rico for versatility. rico is the most OP weapon after current rebalance

I have definitely seen m4 titans... and saw it getting beaten by wasp m4 +rail ... when you say m4 titan you must understand that even tour opponent carries something equivalent. SO its pretty much the same game always. I'm going for anything but rico/isida/rail/hornet/vik(all on my main lol). My original thought was firebird/hunter but smoky seems better for me since smoky/titan is great. So should i buy one of those? Or should i buy twins m1, then save for a kit?

The type of Kits coming are unpredictable, If you save up enough money and the kit is something that you have, You need to wait for a new kit. So this is what i suggest.

Hunter Firebird works very well but Smoky does on both hulls. I'd get Smoky Hunter.

Agree completely. Cedar has the same Thunder protectionas Rustle for half the price, and is only slighyly worse than Emerald, but you can fix that with MUs if you feel like it. The ultimate Thunder paint is definately Clay. Granted, it starts as only 20%, but you can MU it to 50% Thunder/Railgun/Ricochet. It is total beast.

When it first onlocks, Twins M1 is a nightmare for your opponents, especially in maps with a height difference where you can sit above or below them and smack 'em without them hitting you (such as Noise). As for hull and Smoky, if you decide to go for Smoky/Hunter, be prepared to wait many ranks before each unlock. M2 and M3 for both unlock rather late compared to other M2 and M3 equpnemt. On the flip side, that means that the base item is that much better without MUs. :)

Buy Thunder M3. Thunder M3 can kill a Wasp M3 with one Double Power shot. Wasp M3 is quite hard to maneuver (you'll need to work hard on your Wasp driving skills..). I assume that you have Wasp M2 if you're considering Wasp M3 - so unless you play those Flag-N'-Run (I invented that name right now :D) battles (those that you can't take the flag until there's a little hole in the enemy defense and then you sneak in and use your speed to run away with the flag) so much that you have no life, Wasp M3 isn't a lot better than Wasp M2 when comparing with the difference between Thunder M2 and M3.

If that's the case, just go with what you prefer. Although personally (as someone who quite likes XP) I think that buying equipment for format battles means that the equipment of yours that fits your rank will be good only for Format Battles - and limiting you to them. Even if you like BP, limiting yourself almost only to it sounds a bit boring.
