and mostly have low protections,

except a select few like dragon, and even then, it is only ONE protection

at lower ranks the protection is a lot lower for a paint that has multi protection if you wanted you could spend 23k on jaguar but its hard to get that much money at WO3 ... unless you buy crystals  ;)  but you are right  they only protect you from one turret so that is a disadvantage. but if your trying to save money a cheap paint is the way to go.

If you want m2 right now the only choice is freeze. But the most effective turrets and hulls  for poly are twins-mammoth, twins-titan, smoky-titan/mammoth. For noise freeze works well on a medium hull.

Hornet isn't recommendable in Polygon CP. You need a hull with some more protection. Hunter already is a better deal, though it doesn't have that much protection either.

In madness you definitely need a log range turret such as Railgun, Thunder, Vulcan or Shaft. Heavy hulls like Titan and Mammoth doesn't work well in Madness unless you're using Shaft or Vulcan, maybe. It's better to use a hull with some more speed in order to capture some flags. Titan and Mammoth are just too slow to capture a flag in Madness. Railgun fits well on light hulls, Hunter and Viking. Dictator already is a bit too slow in my opinion. Thunder can be used on light hulls too, though I think a Medium hull like Hunter or Viking is more recommendable. Vulcan shouldn't be used on a light hull. Medium hulls and heavy hulls fit better, but when you're using Vulcan with a heavy hull, you'll most likely be camping somewhere instead of going for the flag as the heavy hulls are extremely slow. Shaft isn't the best weapon to use if you want to capture flags. It's a sniper, so use it like a sniper, especially in Madness.

It depends on the equipment you already own. If you're already having a medium hull, I'd not buy Dictator first. Both Lumberjack and Railgun are more unique and can't be replaced by another turret/paint. It depends on what you think you need the most, a new turret or a new paint.

Could you please tell us about your current m1 turret and hulls? Twins m1 is not bad at your rank and one of the best weapon for poly cp.

Totally different turrets I would say rico for smaller maps and rail for large maps.

Yes, It is a very good turret. I also bought smoky m1 at that rank and it lasted me till 3rd lieutenant by micro upgrading it. I really recommend you and it also improves your shooting skills.
