Smoky and Hammer are both effective. Please tell what map you play on, what role you use most of the time (attacker, defender or midfielder) and what you like. Also tell what turrets you need protection from.

And now some decision making. I'll obviously buy Railgun M2 at the sale, but what else? Let's say I'll have 28,000 crystals left after buying Railgun M2. I can get a nice paint or a hull. Hornet M1, Tundra or Fracture? I mainly play on Sandbox CTF and play on other maps a bit (any I find, from a Polygon CP or a Highland or rarely, a Rio). Missions have slightly increased my map range too. And I am a pretty versatile player, so I can be attacking and suddenly changing role to defender. 

 

There's a slight chance I'll win a newspaper contest, which will get me to either 38,000 crystals or 78,000 crystals. So in that case, Hornet M1/M2, Tundra or Fracture? And since I can play any map I find, what about Vulcan M1?

Hornet m2 if you play xp. You wont go wrong with tundra as rail is very popular.

Smoky titan and rock- Excellent defender, dm and midfielder. Rock paint provides excellent protection against twins which are common in dm and all other modes.

Hi, everyone. I am back. :) :P

 

I would go with Hammer M2. Vulcan is generally a little more powerful and is a noob turret. People press the space bar until they self-destruct. It is easy to beat at close range too.

 

Edit: If you are waiting for a sale, you have no business buying M2 equipment, not to mention M1 equipment.

Zeus and Smoky I'd say.

I think Railgun fits better on Hornet than Hammer. Hammer should be put on a Medium hull in my opinion.

I'm considering this, because I have already got a m3 turret (thunder m3) and my hunter m2 is still fine.

I used to play with my freeze m2, but it's getting weak, compared with the firebird m2 and isida m3.

 

Secondly: I'm going to rank soon and I want a new paint.

I'm considering to buy either Inferno or Taiga (I'm able to rank quickly this summer). And no, I don't need Zeus, because I also prefer protection against Twins.

I often play battles (CTF, CP) in Serpuhov, Noise, Polygon, Sandbox, Red Alert and Island.

I also like to use my firebird m2/thunder m3/smoky m2 - Hunter m2 combo.

 

So, should I buy the freeze or the hornet? And which paint should I buy? And tell me why I should do that.

For Wasp, Smoky is better. For Hornet and Viking, Hammer is better. On Polygon, I'd say Zeus or Clay. On other maps, like Serpuhov or Rio, I'd say Zeus too.

first: You need an M3 hull, so I'd say Hornet M3.

 

Second: Inferno may be better. But you need protection against Twins, so Taiga.

In my opinion, since I bought Jackhammer, a few nerfs have been made to Hammer that makes it not as effective as before, but still very powerful.

 

Viking will always be my favorite Medium Hull. :)

You can follow @Penguin40's advice or upgrade your Hunter hull the first several steps in protection and speed. Freeze is no longer as strong as before, so you need a heavier hull with it than Hornet. Thunder as an M3 turret is not enough. You need something else.

 

So my suggestion is Freeze + Hunter upgrades.

Guys I need some advice for my noob account. The only thing I have bought in this account is the ying yang kit (freeze thunder wasp mammoth). The dilemma is whether keep buying m's for the equipment I already have or buy nothing but kits.
