What to buy? Which is better?

Guys, at the christmas sale what should i buy? I'll be 3rd lieutenant maybe 2nd.

Crys:

-now: 15k

-then(hopefully): 40-60k

my M1's: Hornet, Mammoth, Isida, Thunder, Railgun, Firebird, Freeze, Smokey

my m0's: everything else but vulcan

MY paints: Storm, Mary, Safari, Dragon, Forester, Metallic, Swamp, and other useless stuff

My med/long range combo is thunder hornet

My short/med range combo is isida hornet or freeze hornet

My long range combo is rail hornet or shaft hornet

 

I usually offense...

I think you should first go for a better hull, and then a better turret..

If you think you can do great with hornet-isida, then go for it...its a good combo...(but I hope you know M2 isida is even common for WOs)..

 

If you want to go for something else, I would suggest go for M2 thunder...its great...

But apparently, you will have less crystals...so perhaps you'll be able to go for only hornet M2..

 

BTW, also look for some good kits available at that time...maybe you find something better than all this...

If you find some good kit available, then I would personally suggest you to go for a kit with viking or dictator, preferably viking...

A medium hull suits all maps and all turrets...it can be put to any use...

 

Thus, as a final suggestion, I would say that if you're able to buy viking, then go for it..forget everything else..

as said by assos10, don't waste crystals on paints

Believe me, you'll get used to going to battles without paint...you won't believe me, but I don't even remember which paint is equipped in my garage...I hardly ever change paint...

You just need to know what paint the enemy has, so you can choose a better trick to attack him...never worry about yourself..

In test server i tried both! IMO better is vulcan but u have to know how to use and u have to have good anti-fire paint for over heat

yea, I tried it, it was awesome but...... I was not satisfied becoz in test server there are many noobs, a lot of drugging, stupid combos etc etc.....

I want to know how good it is against skilled players.

Normally I would say go for a better turret first, but in your case I think you need a hull. Specifically, a medium hull. However, I would get Hornet M2 now and save up for an M2 hull so you do not have to buy an M1 version and waste the crystals on it.

Hmmmm well I hear that Vulcan is more suited for heavy hulls so idk Rico with some mues can pack quite a punch

I usually play CP, so I prefer Isida. With Thunder you need to stand away most of the time. The point is where you make the most points/crystals.

Even when I use Rico, I find myself not going into the point enough.

He says he will rank enough by then.....and do you seriously think that a freeze m2 is effective at the leut.- brigadier ranks? i would say not...until and unless its a enough skilled player..

Yes exactly. I will seriously never buy 100% SMP again. Even if a 50% sale is coming and i need to rank fast for some equipment. :D
