What to buy? Which is better?

I always like hearing others opinions (if only sometimes to hear my own thoughts validated  :P ). I was thinking Zeus would be the best paint to get first, since I have no Fire protection, then Clay. Turrets, I am deciding between Firebird and Smoky. I think that the combo I will get will be Smoky/Viking/Zeus, because it addresses all of the areas that I don't have a lot in. I lean away from Firebird since I have it M2, while my Smoky is M0.

No worries. Smokey m2 is great at my rank (higher ranks use it). M3 would only be better. It works well at all ranges, really, so it is a good choice. The reason I didn't mention Smokey is because you have Thunder and Ricochet; Ricochet is really effective at your rank (I think) and is similar to Smokey except for the range difference and critical hits, etc. However, in the Starladder, etc. people pretty much only use Railgun and Smokey (including clan wars). It is up to you; you know more than me, as I have said and if you want another mid-range then go for it; Smokey is a good turret.

Hey gusy i hav recently been worring about my WO4 garage. I think i have wasted to many cry on many differnt m1 turrets, these are my m1....Wasp m1, Rail m1, Rico m1, Smoky M1 and Fire m1.

 

 What i am whishing to do is continue with rail and hornet (i don have hornet m1): with the new feuatre i can buy the m2 horent straight away, but the problem is i only have 6k cry and i am 10k of ranking up to WO5. I have started a new acc just to follow rail and hornet. But plz tell me if it is worht the time to contuie playing with this acc thex.. and plz think and discuss this carefull :wub:  :blink:  :mellow:

Paints worth anything: Tundra, Rustle, Rock

Get Fire and zeus. I don't know about hulls

 

is thunder m3 the best thing i could buy at brigadier?  or should i buy another m2 ?

 

i have fire m2 so i dont really wanna get isida because its another short range turret.

In my opinion, isida m3 is better than thunder m3 because you can play with it in nearly all maps.

I used my M2 Firebird yesterday in a Polygon deathmatch. I got 6th place, behind three druggers and two other people. If I had it M3 I would have been ahead of those other two.

 

It is still effective, but M3 dominates even more :)

Either Railgun M2 or Rico M2. Vulcan loses most of it's power after M2 until you can get it M3 due to hulls with higher protection, paints, and player skill. Railgun lets you play XP, but Rico is OP.

Those turrets are all good turrets. Yes, you probably spent a little too much on them, but so long as you get a good hull soon you should be perfectly fine. Hornet is a great choice, and I would also recommend Viking so you have a secondary option with more health. Try to narrow your purchases down to two turrets and two hulls if you can. Being focuses like that helps you with your spending.

I'd recommend M2 Thunder. When using Twins, you'll be forced to be exposed if you want to attack (shots are fired continuously), so you'll often take quite a beating in the process. Thunder has superior range and requires that you only pop out of cover every few seconds.

 

If you like to play aggressively, roll with Twins, but note that Hunter isn't the best hull to use Twins on. If you play more conservatively, buy Thunder.

That's good to know then, because after I buy Hornet m2 during a sale I am saving up for Firebird. I am two ranks below at the moment (for fire), but I think it won't be too hard to rank up. I have 85k, so without a sale Hornet is 60k. This will leave me with 55ish thousand crystals if it is a 50% sale. Firebird is near 90k for me, so I won't be able to get it unless I earn another heap of crystals or if there is a sale. I doubt I will rank two times before Christmas...

Could people give me their thoughts?

Go for Rock. This way you will have a great Twins protection paint to go along with your other paints. You've already got plenty of powerful M3s to work with in your garage, and I don't suggest Twins for now due to the rising number of protection paints against it, unless you've got plenty of drugs.

i was thinking about it, many people said viking, so is viking worth it at m3 with Iisida or woulD I be better off on hornet?. I ususlaly like islland and hill battles, I wouldn't want to wait that extra rank though. Tell me what you think

I haven't played format battles before, but I think that xp is hornet/railgun, bp is wasp/railgun and op is very very good; excellent...

 

Correct me if I am wrong.

Unless you are buying items because of their price then I think that railgun isn't as good a deal as ricochet. I have slightly mu'ed my m1 hornet, yet I can survive a non-upgraded m2 railgun. When I get m2 Hornet, I will only have more armour. Yet with ricochet, you need to deal dozens of quick blows to your enemies. With m2, ricochet is very powerful and can be unbeatable if used properly with supplies. Another point to ricochet is that in tightly packed maps you can aim badly and miss the enemy only for it to bounce back and kill it. There are good points to rail however (using double damage it will kill hornets in one shot), but I cannot be bothered typing them all. Pages like "Lets Discuss Railgun/Turrets" will hold plenty of that info.
