Meanwhile, how's Smoky working out for you? I have heard it performs well even at M3. Is it worth buying? I plan to use it in maps like Polygon, Ping Pong, Farm, Noise, Hill, Kungur, etc.

I might have been the only one whose original plan was freeze and hunter, but the sales are earlier than usual and i can't get hunter.

So what should i do? i'm not getting freeze i've heard that hornet/freeze doesn't exactly shine nowadays.

 

My boudget is about 200k i can bend to 250k if i really like the plan.

I won't buy any hulls. I won't buy isida, i find it boring. I like maps of all kind, but my favourites are mid range maps with cover like polygon, red alert, barda,bobruisk etc. For my garage... well there is the profile button, and only shaft and hornet are upgraded like 10 steps each

I like playing offensive, midfielder or intense defence, never basic defence or DM.

It would be ideal if the plan only included buying stuff atleast 40% off ( it can include MUs too)

 

So plase hit me up if you have any suggestions what so ever... i'll try to shape my purchases around them. ^_^

p.s: i can also start skipping sales like hopscotch and just do kits... already skipped wankersday,halloween and the 25% MU sale.

It sounds like Thunder m3 would be a good buy for you. I would say emerald to go with it, then do some microupgrades.

I hate it. Ok well not exactly. Whenever I use it in Poly CP I can keep a good D/L but I cannot get into top 3 of my team. Anyways, Poly isn't really for Smoky except for Poly DM where its beast.

Thanks for the advice. The only thing that was holding up dictator was it's height for catching gold box. But I'm not really into MUs so i'll just buy viking then. :)

 

And for your question above I do suggest you think about buying hunter m3. My brother (SirDarkTank) uses it a lot and seems to like it. That's just a suggestion.

No point on buying Viking...You are unlocking it M3 in 3 ranks...Dictator is better IMO.

BP is amazing for a flagcapper on Barda, and is also a solid combo on Red Alert.

I have Twins m3, and its very strong. It's a little difficult leading shots on distant opponents though.

I just had a Poly CP match where 10 of the 16 people in the match were using Twins m2 or higher. I had to switch my Twins m3 to Vulcan m2 to give cover fire from afar. I don't want to sound egotistical, but without my help, we would have lost. 

 

In another match I had today, Madness CTF, there were more Vulcans than Shafts, and they totally out-competed them not only in terms of numbers, but in damage too. 

 

I'm thinking of getting Vulcan instead of Smoky now...  :unsure:

I'd agree, that seems like a good decision. However, I'd look into getting loam and skipping rock for now, even if rock seems far superior. The two paints you currently have with 20% won't be quite enough for you to be truly OP imo. Inferno would also work, but honestly I'd go with loam as the freeze protection on Inferno isn't great. And loam is +6% fire prot plus cheaper.

Only get Winter if you play a lot of long distance maps (e.g. monte carlo, rio, serpuhov, etc). If you dont, then winter is just not that great.And if you're an xp player, i think the choice is obvious - rail m2.

It's not great because there're not a lot of Freezes currently? I think that'll change after the 50% sale...  -_-

 

Freeze is a huge annoyance for Vulcans cause its turret rotation isn't great, and it can deal a lot of damage too. Fire protection for the burn effect and the plethora of Fires, and the Twins protection will help a little. 

 

If I'm correct, a m3 Vulcan will deal the same burn damage as Fire m3, so if I do get Vulcan, Inferno would be a higher priority than Rock.

 

Now about Loam... Sure 36% Fire is awesome, but that's just it. I don't see only Fires (in Poly CP) anymore. Even if Loam is 45% off, I still don't see the value in it much. I'd like to shy away from purchasing weak paints, and get strong ones that (hopefully) will be used often. 

 

Maybe Mars would be a good choice too...

Tanki managed to do the thing I didn't want and so now basically I need some 30 k more!, for Hornet, and for Thunder, pls don't even ask.

 

SO what should I do?

 

Buy m3 freeze (Turret more important than hull, plus I used Fire ALOT, so I have inherited the tactics one needs to use it. I could afford it, and Shaft... no... just no.

 

Option two

 

BUY Ibris or try for Emerald

 

Option 3

 

Get M2 Twins and  brick (well 2, incase I chose to get a supply kit)

The thing is, I hate noobs that use DP on my Hornet M2 which is a 1-shot, and many people dont use Viking M2, which will make me feel special if i get Viking M2 :D. I'll rule out Winter, because i play all range maps. I also want M2 Rail to 1-shot M1 Hornet. So hard <_<

Twins by a mile. Once purchased it already has a high dps. And the impact force is just plain annoying.

now I want to return my firebird because it isn't as cool as my mom said it would be

New kits; Bulldozer is there. I have 235k after ranking, etc. and will be buying it! If the kits get discounts on items, then I guess I'll buy it with the Thunder discount, as Thunder costs the most and has the highest discount out of the items. If the discounts apply, then I'll have some crystals to spare. I think I'll probably forgo buying another paint; Emerald is probably enough for my rank, isn't it? My only concern is enemy Firebirds. My Jaguar paint gives me 10 or 11% protection from it, but maybe I should consider Loam? I'll figure out costs and everything.

If you're talking about Twins M2 then no. You should not be getting any M2s. I would get M3 Hornet if I were you, even if 50% freeze is hard to turn down
