What to buy? Which is better?

Hello tankers. I have 130k crystal right now. I have M2 Freezer and M1 Hunter, and I really want Firewall kit. I hope it comes back during Iron Days, and if I buy it during the paint sale, it will cost me 162k. Between now and when I rank, I will need to make about 24k crystals. I think I can do this, but I am now re-evaluating Firewall, since a lot of players have Storm paint. I was thinking of getting Boar or maybe Stinger, should I still go for Firewall?

You can always post from your main you know <_< anyway firewall is still a great kit especially sense most people at you will fight at second lieutenant will still be using m1s or low rank m2s so firewall is still a good choice .but atlas is good also and so is Northerner

It is incredibly hard to flip a Viking, so if you get on top of the pile, you are almost guaranteed to catch the gold. Your health and speed will take care of you as well

Sorry, but no. Viking out classes Dictator on every level and on every map except Polygon. Dictator is just too slow to attack and too weak to play in a permanent defensive role, so it doesn't quite fit in

- Graffiti > Africa? They are both great by thier own standards. Just depends on how you use it

- it worth MUing Taiga? Not really, spend the crystals on MU a Hull or Turret

- it worth buying Nano if I have Hohloma? Yes, I find Nano is great as it has decent protection against the 4 super deadly turrets.

Firewall:

Hohloma - Good overall, but technically only the Smoky and Ricochet protections will actually do any help since Freeze is rare.

Firebird M2 - Best M2 short-range turret.

Hunter M2 - I haven't faced it too often, but it seems to be good. Although it's not a bad buy, Vik M2 is better.

 

Boar:

Sandstone - IMO this paint isn't effective. I'd buy it if I were to play XP/BP, but still there's Fracture which is cheaper but still better.

Dictator M2 - It's the kingpin in Polygon, but I've heard it needs MUs to compete well enough at the M2 stage.

Ricochet M2 - Pretty powerful, it is definitely worth buying.

 

Stinger:

Fracture - Not a "great" paint but very popular because it lets you play XP once you get this kit along with Rail M2.

Isida M2 - It is quite good, but then again M3 is early.

Hornet M2 - It isn't such a huge upgrade from M1 unlike Wasp, but I don't think anyone would regret buying it.

M2 Railgun. Simply because M3 Thunder is an early M3, and I've heard there isn't much difference between M2 and M3 Thunder. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. :)

 

And also which paint should i try to get if I have enough cry

Make paints against Isida and Firebird your priority because they are the mostly deadly, taking into account an average of what maps you play and at what range. So you may want to get Loam. However, it would only make sense to save for much better paints like Irbis, Urban or Savanna. But please note that getting paints later on at M3 ranks might also be a good idea, and instead you can invest the crystals on hulls or turrets.

I'm a major gold Hunter thanks for all your help so far with my questions. My combinations:

Wasp+Hammer

Dictator + Smoky

Twins + Hunter

 

Fell free to tell me what 2 change. And I know 3 combos will be hard to manage because I'm not a buyer

Scrap Smoky + Dictator, because except in maps like Polygon, Massacre, etc it will come to use. If you are using that combination only for the sake of gold-hunting, then you can equip Hammer or Twins on Dic, they both do fine.

I may even be better off getting M2 Hornet for the sale since there is no availability to M2 Viking at this rank. The kits are bad.

If you are a heavy Polygon CP player then get Africa, Otherwise i recommend Raccoon for sure, Raccoon is an excellent drug wars paint

According to my friend (not really) get m1 twins, it can beat m4 Rico anyways.

According to me, twins m1 is a good m1 but has trouble against high tier m2 even xD

I like both, tornado if u will play XP, stinger for other battles.

i alredy have m1 twins :D

It will give me M2 Hornet, and an amazing M2 weapon, plus a paint I'll eventually need to play XP anyways... any thoughts?

 

EDIT: Tornado will probably require a crystal purchase to get anytime soon, Stinger won't...

I only use Ricochet, but I would feel left out if I didn't buy anything for the sale. I use M2 Dictator and M2 Ricochet 90% of my battles. Is there anything that would really help me right now maybe as a boost because I should't MU my main combo until it's M3? Look at my profile.

You have an effective M2 combo that you love - so don't buy any other M2s.

also don't MU your combo to M3, it is way to expensive to go all the way.

Save the crystals for M3s.. they are very expensive. There you can then decide to get a Hunter/Viking or Dictator as a Hull for your Rico.. whereby you should carefully check the figures in the wiki (not only the M3 figures, but very important are the M4 figures!)

 

Maybe you also want to get an XP or BP combo when you reach M3; some paints will ocme in handy.. you see you will need every single crystal that you can save up.

Scrap Dictator+Smoky for the while beeing, and learn decent gameplay with Hammer and precise aim with Twins - to increase your efficiency on the battlefield.

Work your way up to M3 ranks and then you can get your Smoky. Maybe as a Smoky/titan kit.

Stinger is awesome, but if you love Hornet/Rail, then you should save only for Tornado.

Consider that if you get Stinger, your Tornado savings are gone.. and you can start to save up from the scratch.

 

Tornado unlocks the M2 rail soooo early, that it a crime to balance (means you are overpowered for 3..4 ranks and will earn a lot of crystals if you play clever).

well as you play no CP games but CTF most of the time,

it's

- either Viking+Fire

- or Titan+Vulcan

 

As you seem to love your hornet, I would say go Viking. Titan is really a damn slow thing..

As you like your Shaft, a Firebird will give you some other aspect to the game, while a Vulcan is also about camping.

 

So Fire/Viking.

 

If you can get only one of em, get a Viking. It makes your Titan M1 obsolte and works as a good platform

If you like attacking / small(er) maps get viking+firebird .if you just like to roam around and kill and maybe cap a few flags/points get viking+vulcan cause it works really good for pretty much anything if you are skilled with it. If you like to be slow as hell and mow down your enemys and have a s*** load of armor get Vulcan+titan .if you like small maps like island and/ or defending a lot get titan+firebird cause this combo works well with defending and camping on flags that aren't open to sniper fire / long range weapons
