No Hammer is weak just like thunder without micro upgrades. I have 15/50 and still not able to match up with other m3s that unlock late ranks that have 0 micro upgrades. But m4 hammer is good with double damage against m3 without supplies ;)

At the iron days sale i can buy smoky m2. but i have nearly ranked to brigadier so will thunder m3 or isida m3 be better options. I already have thunder m2. between smoky m2 and m3 lots of other m3 weapons unlock so will smoky m2 be good enought to compete with those m3s until smoky m3 unlocks. I have Hornet m2, so I could play using that, but its slower and less maneuverable than m3.

If I calculate the prices (-25%) and compare them with your last weeks earnings (60k), I get the following two conclusions:

 

- If you get XP M3 now during the sale, you can afford a Wasp M3 in 3..4 Weeks later

- If you get only the Rail M3 now during the sale, you can afford a Wasp M3 at normal price just 10 days later

 

So if you talk about driving a slow Hornet M2, please consider that you talk about only a few days

 

 

If I would earn 60k per week like you do, I would not get a Hornet M3 if _you_ really _preffer_ a Wasp M3.

As soon as you have your Wasp, the crystals for the Hornet feel wasted - simply because you will use, what you preffer.

Hornet M3 = 158k -> assume 25% -> 118k

Wasp M3 = 215k -> assume 25% -> 161k

 

So you can afford about 281k

But you can not afford 324k

 

If you get XP, you are about 0cr and have to start saving for a Wasp M3 from the scratch.

If you get only the rail, you are left with around 120k, and need to save additional 90k to reach your Wasp.

Keep saving for your favorite weapon. If it is Isida, then do so.

Plan ahead for an Ant or Medic kit, if it fits your playing stylel

Isida is for fast earning of xp and its quite good at m2 and m3 stage. With drugs it is OP.

I suggest you to buy a kit like sting for 108k (hornet m2 isida m2 fracture paint) or any other kit you prefer.

My Thunder is M1, so should I get M2 Thunder and save up for the kit or should I get the Firewall kit (Firebird M2, Hunter M2, and Hohloma)? I have M2 Dictator but no M2 Viking so maybe Hunter will be a good substitute for speed and gold agility? A or B?

Thunder m1 is OK. But if you buy thunder m2 and you rank up to higher rank, you will feel its not good. Thunder really needs some MUs or Drugs to bring it on. Ricochet is OP.. BTW firewall kit is a great choice. Firebird m2 is OP with its burning effect and hunter m2 will pair nicely also it is good for golds . Hohloma also have some decent protections. So at your rank firewall will be a great choice if you play CP modes the mostly, but in other modes also its effective.

You have a firebird, but you don't use it very often. Why get it M2.. if it does not fit your playing style?

Always consider, that most young players recommend you waht they like, not what suits you.

 

I would suggest you to stick with your Rico M2 and save up for M3 (kits).

The M2 stage is not very long - but you can sink a lot of crystals into M2s that you will never use again once you have M3s.

And once you have M3s, you need a lot of crytals to get paints and upgrade your gear.

 

Take a look at the Redneck Kit, I think it will suit you well.

 

ps: Thunder M3 is said to be weak in comparism to other M3s... so if you like to have it plan decent microupgrades.

ps2: for golds a weapon with recoil is pretty usefull, as you can climb on other tanks. I have taken more golds with my rail then with my Firebirds.

Imho it does not make much of a difference if you use ot on a wasp or hornet.. you trade speed and dodging for some hitpoints.

Viking is really strong partner for an Isida. But you have to like the slower gameplay.. else it feels boring after a while.

If you play small maps or enjoy playing short ranged turrets, Isida is an excellent choice, and with a but if MU'ing it will last till the end of your Tanki career.

3. Just continue on saving for a kit.

I got a discount for Mammy m3 for 37%. Should I:

1. Get Mammy and then Rock at Iron Days

2. Get Rail at Iron Days and then Wasp full price later

 

Reasoning:

I have only 1 step of MUs on my m3s. The health boost from Titan to Mammy m3 is great for the plethora of Pro Battles that I play in. I'll get Rock for obvious reasons; Twins, Isida and Freeze are annoying.

 

On my alt, HaloScorpion, I have m2 XP/BP, and that's all I use it for. I perform well with them against the m3 variants, but I often get beaten because of the difference in the stats. I will get m3 BP on V2 in the future, but do you think that I should hold up on getting it until Tanki B-Day, and continue to use m2 BP until then? Or buy it ASAP?

If you're 1/50 Thunder M3, don't MU Thunder unless you can get it to at least 30/50 (which is super expensive). I have 41/50 Thunder M3 and it was super OP, but I got lucky from the update and I remember that stock Thunder M3 wasn't that great. I would go for a kit. The problem I find with getting Isida M3 is that Thunder and Isida are both low-tier M3s, which means that they aren't that great without MU's.
