Rico is better for most of your maps, but it's not the best fit for your only M3 hull. It can work with Dictator though.

I would buy viking or hunter m3, much better for noise, polygon and silence, than hornet, having only a light hull will cost on you in drug battles.

However from rico and fire, i would pick rico, you don't really have a midrange turret.

You don't need fire for fire/hornet battles m2 is fine, and your isida should handle close range battles pretty well.

However, if you prefer the playing style of fire, you should definetly get it, fire/hornet or fire/dico can perform just fine.

So overall i think you would find rico more useful. :)

Depends on your playing style. The Tornado Kit is my personal favorite, it will serve you well till the brigadier ranks but only if  you play in big maps. Pitbull is your best choice.

Im stuck between 3 kits; Northerner (Smoky m2, viking m2 and Winter), Minotaur (Viking m2, Twins m2 and Rhino) and Atlas (Titan m2, Smoky m2 and Loam).

I generally play in maps like polygon, noise, rio and sometimes to have a bit of fun I play on Serpuhov and Kungur. So which kit is most suitable?

 

I myself feel that I like the accuracy and consistency of Smoky over Twins and Thunder just isn't my preference since I don't drug much and attack quite often.

 

Now over to hulls, Titan is a beast at m2. No explanation needed. Viking is as well, no explanation needed. However, Viking is more versatile than titan and better suited to attack than def. Although titan is designed for camping at a base and def. Alternatively, it can be used for attack but on small maps.

 

Finally for paints, on maps like and especially polygon, Firebirds are very common which makes Loam most worth. While with Rhino I rarely see a map filled with hammers or vulcans. Winter is literally banter, since I rarely see shafts and I have enough experience to counter them. xD

Viking is much more versatile then Titan... so I would go for Norhtener

If you like to have cheap fire protection, get storm and upgrade it to 24%.. thats pretty cheap and pretty effective.

On Viking it does not make much of a difference, if you have 24% or 36% fire protection (on Titan it would).

 

I got myself the Titan M1 and found its a decent hull.. but I was bored by the slow gamestyle.

It worked only

- as baseline defense in all CTFs

- polygon

- in small map DM (as most players chose weaker targets instead of you)

I found no other role it suits really well

(ok, I once capped a flag at Rio, but that needed a loooooot of patience :D. I also snipe from Rio's hill with my Rail, but a Viking could do this as well and would handle incoming enemies better (agility))

 

So Viking would be my chioce (I'll soon get a Viking via Medic kit :))

Did you say you like to attack often?

 

I think going for smoky m2 is a good idea. Don't bother buying what you don't like. I can't comment on titan really. IMHO it's best to have a heavy hull, a medium hull and a light one to adapt to any situation. Although, either the light or the heavy hull can be sacrificed to meet budget constraints and playing style. The medium hull is therefore, an essential. So I'd say you should prioritize viking m2. But if you're more comfortable being a camper beast, go for the titan.

 

My thoughts on the kit choices you listed -

 

1) Northerner - Good kit. Paint will be useful in maps like Monte Carlo, Serpuhov, kungur... in that order (I guess). I think it'll also be best worn on a medium/heavy hull, not a light one - to be really effective. Btw, I think it's hard to play shaft. It gets really annoying at higher ranks though when all of them simply equip DD and you can't move without being sniped. Most games are won thanks to the shafts and isidas of a team.

 

2) Minotaur - No comment on twins. The paint rhino - maybe you don't see it being useful at your current rank, but I can say with some level of confidence that I think those protections are worth having in the long run.

 

3) Atlas - Already said what I had to on titan. The paint I'm not a fan of. It probably works on heavies. But that's it. You can't rely on Loam (without MUs) to protect a medium hull decently. Another point you need to consider is getting the paladin kit later on (smoky m3, viking m3, inferno) which has an better paint with firebird protection.

4. Mosquito
5. Tornado

 

M1 railgun, or m1 Vulcan?

M1 Railgun I'd say, if you have experience with M0 and like it. Otherwise M1 Vulcan is good as well. M2-wise, you should get M1 Railgun, because Vulcan M2 is OP and a must-get if you like Vulcan.

Definitely Atlas kit, but you may have to get Hornet/Hunter M2 later because you play on Rio, Serpuhov and Kungur and those are relatively larger for Titan to tread on.

On any of the maps you mentioned, you can't go wrong with Minotaur. Like Spit_Fyre said, a medium hull is an essential, and although you like smoky, twins is suitable for all those maps without using drugs. Smoky-titan will require many supplies. I'm not an expert on advice, I know my garage is a mess certainly, but that's what I would go for.

 

 

 

I've also got a bit of a problem. I've never bought a kit before and I can see that it's cost me, so I want to start saving for it straight away. But if you look at my garage, you'll see that I have very few m1s and m2s, and I have enough money for both freeze m2 and hornet m2, which I can't choose between them. They aren't available in any its I can buy. But at the same time, I feel like I should continue saving for the Firewall kit because hunter is the hull I use the most by far, and I only use isida, rail and sometimes rico so the gun doesn't matter that much. And I still have nearly no paints. Sorry, that was a complete jumble, but should I get hornet or freeze in the sales? Or should I just ignore the Iron Days altogether so I can get Firewall quicker befroe I'm too behind in kits? I really need some help because I haven't the slightest idea what to do. Right now I have 60k.

Ignore Iron Days, yeah - 25% isn't better at all than the 40-50% kits give you. Save for Minotaur or Firewall. Freeze M2 is not bad, but not worth the money either. Buy medium hull, and if you need, then buy Wasp or Hornet M2.

Isida M3 imo. I only say that cause Vulcan prot isn't needed at your rank. When you get to higher up M3 battles, Red Suit may come in handy.
