IMO, Smoky is the best M2 turret. Northerner and Atlas contain Smoky M2 ; I prefer Atlas because of the paint.

and it costs 170k i figured i could probably save that much in about 4 months but is it worth it?

or should i just save for a single m2 turret or hull

Kits, always better than single M2s. You get drugs and almost a full paint free. Go for Firewall, you can easily get it by if you don't waste crystals and play battles with high funds.

Excellent choice, but a quick question...

Is the kit you're talking about M2 Vulcan? If so, you'll need to MU it after a while.

Other than that all I can tell you is that Vulcan is better at camping and long-range attacking.

yup i think ill just mu vulcan ten times and then move on to buying legend kit and make it my m3 xp account

That depends on your playing style.

Thunder, Smoky and Rico are all great at M2; but the gameplay is very much different with each of them.

Actually >you< have to >play< the turrets right, in order to >make them good<.

 

So what is your target with the midrang turret?

 

Do you want to camp in midfield, to you want to actively trace and hunt down enemies that are incoming?

Or are you a defender that want to increase his defense range?

Or are you an attacker that has enough of beeing sniped inside the enemy base by a defending railgunner out of your twins range`?

 

Whats your concern, and what's your target?

 

Because maybe you need the fast damage delivery of Rico, maybe the constant damage of a Smoky or maybe the Splash and range of Thunder.

So I was thinking about starting a new account so i can enter the game with experience, but was wondering about a few turrets and hulls

 

A) Short Range. I know firebird is really op because of the early and low price for upgrading, but I've played around with hammer on another account, which do you think is better?

 

B ) Smokey. I have kinda wanted to try out smokey and see if what everybody says about it being op is true, but having that and either one of the weapons above leaves me without a long range turret…do I need one, or can i get by with smokey.

 

C) Hulls. Pretty much so sum it up: hornet vs wasp. I've played with hornet for a while and love the handling but I've had some advise about getting the faster wasp for firebird or similar.

 

D) Heavy Hulls. Titan or Mammoth? I know both of them are fortresses and titan is a tad faster… so which of these should i invest in. Also, should I get one of those or a medium hull like viking.

Well, if you are primarily a Railgun player like I assume from your name. (I can't check profiles under school wifi because it's blocked.)

You shouldn't feel far from home with Smoky.

And if you feel like you want more armor with that, go for something like Titan or Viking. I wouldn't recommend Mammoth because it's pretty much a sitting target.

For short-rangers, Firebird, Isida or Hammer - all three are good investments. At M1, Firebird and Hammer is better.

Smoky, don't try it at M1. When you reach M2 it becomes OP, not at M1 AT ALL!

Get Wasp M1 and MU 5-10 steps // buy Forester because you like it.

Titan is better at M1, but you might want to get Hunter or Dictator, because you are getting Wasp and suddenly going to heavy hull would be a problem at times.

Ok, so now the main issue for me is hammer vs firebird. Firebird is op in the beginning because it unlock m1 so early, but m2 and 3 are behind hammer. I love the hammer's physical effect and recoil, but the reload time could be better. Firebird is amazing to take down some enemies, but has no recoil and can't knock off aim. So what do you guys think, firebird or hammer?

 

Edit- I also forgot…firebird starts out very cheap compared to the hammer's 38k investment for m1

No, don't get Vesuvius. Good Hull and paint, but Vulcan M2 isn't worth it. I have it alt.

In general, I'd pick Siberian a bit over Predator, cause you get a M2. But Thunder M1 is good, although you will need to get a Thunder paint if you wish to buy. You also have Fire and Isida M1 (two short range), so having Thunder will diversify your garage. I got Siberian on my alt (BorussiaDortmund_BVB) when it was WO3, and since then it has been very effective for me (194k currently). If you buy Siberian now, I'm sure that you will be able to make enough crystals to be able to get a kit at Third Lieutenant or Captain. Siberian will last you up to at least those ranks.

SO now, when theres no sale. I get discount on thunder m3, not nuff crys, and then instead of a 50% 30% and instead of on sale of sale!, If tanki gives me a discount when I need it. Ans supposedly getting discounts which are completely random "helps" me get what I want. LOOOOOL
