I have 215k currently. I want to get m3 BP. Should I buy Rail at 25%, then buy Wasp full price later? I'm expecting another 67k from a mission, but I'm only 1/9 through it.

Graffiti is good because you get Vulcan and twins protection, which is good in poly cp. but the shaft protection is useless in the maps you want to play.

 

Zeus is better in your maps because all 3 turrets are commonly seen in them.

 

Twins imo is better for these maps (fire for silence, even in noise.) because continuose shooting.

Fire because of high damage on small maps is good and long after burn!

 

So paint is better in promo.

But turret I would pick vandal, if you buy Titan after.

Although Twins M1 is great, buying more M1s now would only mean you get your M2s late. We suggested Viking because you had Wasp which is not good "enough" for the crystal-earning maps like Polygon.

Paint, nah, unless you had Thunder or Vulcan, having a paint at this stage isn't heavily necessary unless it is Fracture, Storm or Tundra. All other paint that you will buy now will be rendered ineffective after a few ranks and the great paints only start at around .

freeze is the weakest m2. but even the weakest m2 is better than the strongest m1 :p isida m2 is a mediocre m2 not good not bad but if u get osaka and buy an m2 hull

Ok let me do a quick analysis of your options :-

 

1) Siberian: M1 hull, won't last beyond , Freeze M2 is NOT BAD, once you get how to unleash full clip by circling/attacking from behind... it can almost kill Titan/Mammo M2 in full clip. Tundra is great paint.

2) Stinger (please don't Osaka, Sakura paint is crap) ... you get M2 combo and you need only like 45k fir this, so it can be your priority to get it by so that you can use it up to Colonel.. Fracture not a great paint unless you are going to play format battlee at M2.

3) Minotaur/Firewall - costly but worth, you can get one by Major, be OP and last well into the M3 ranks.. Firewall has decent paint, but Hunter M2 is not great... meanwhile Minotaur's paint is too specific however Viking M2 is top notch. If you're going to go for 3rd opt you need to buy decent m1 hull in iron days like Dic M1 or Viking m1 to use in Polygon.

 

Assess your situation and crystal earning rate and choose from the above.

So I was thinking about starting a new account so i can enter the game with experience, but was wondering about a few turrets and hulls

 

A) Short Range. I know firebird / hammer

B ) Smokey - vs - longrange

C) Hulls. hornet vs wasp.

D) Heavy Hulls. Titan or Mammoth?

a + c ) I preffer Fire over hammer, because Fire enables you to take out larger enemies as well, while hammer.. takes it's time (reload). With fire I come close, burn em down and get a hide afterwards. If you like that hit&run, thats the choice.

In M0/M1 the Wasp is the nicer hull, because the health difference to Hornet is minor, while the manoverability is simply awesome. With a Hornet you have to drift around your enemies.. while the Wasp goes where you want it to go.

 

Proposal: Get the Fire M1 + Wasp M1 Kit. Wasp M1 is a major advantage over Hornet/Wasp M0, and this kit gives you an early unlock as well.

Microupgrade your firebird to gain more burinng duration, and it will be your true friend

 

b) Smoky vs longranger:

Smoky is really, really decent starting from M2. As the Smoky M2 unlocks late, you have the options to get

- Northener Kit (Viking M2!! and Smoky M2, Winter paint).

- Atlas Kit (Titan M2 and Smoky M2, Loam paint).

Up to thise ranks, I would not use the smoky. A railgun M1 is the better mid/longranger, because your skill advantage enables you to use it close-to-midrange as well, and especially againt beginners it is more effective then a Low-tier Smoky

 

Rail-vs-Fire

I earn more XP and crystals per hour with Firebird on this alt of mine, then I do with railgun. But I am by my nature not a camper.

 

d) Titan-Mammuth, midrange hull

Titan is decent.. but in M1 you have to watch the parameters very closely:

If i remember it right, the Dictator M1 has almost the same health while providing higher speed and manoverability. In M2 the Titan has it's edge.

Also consider, that if you go for a Smoky M2 kit with Viking M2, the Titan M1 becomes obsolete (Viking M2 better then Titan M1).

 

So my choices would be:

- fireM1 Wasp M1 kit, as soon as possible (16k cr)

- play it until you can afford a Railgun M1 (about 35k cr)

- If heavy hull, then Dictator M1 (without upgrades, as not effective on Dictator M1) or a Titan M1 (with upgrades; upgrades are effective on Titan M1). As you lieteraly fly through those lower ranks, the M1 heavy hull is maybe something you can skip !!!

- Save up for Northener Kit, use it with it's Smoky M2 or with your Firebird M1 (about 200k cr)

- Maybe save up for Misquito Kit if you love Railgun (about 200k cr)

You will make the 5k cr within 3 hours of gameplay, so dont worry.

 

Sibirian:

Freeze M2 is in skilled hands pretty deadly, and it pays off for itself as it unlocks so early. Later it looses ground against Fire M2 completely... but if you look when Fire M2 unlocks... the Freeze M2 is a nice turret in the meanwhile.

The stats difference between Hunter M1 and Hunter M2 is not very high.. you can keep running your M1 hull for some time.

Tundra is paint, that will be of use up to the highest ranks (at least until they change the paint system.. they dont talk about it.. maybe they tell it after the sale.. as usual..)

 

Although all together you still might find Stinger better. Depends strongly on your gamestyle and the hulls you have (Isida works best on mdeium hulls like a Viking, as they have the necessary health reserves to make full use of the self-healing feature)
