DPS of Firebird is huge, but it also depends on the size of the Map.

 

I use Smoky (Hornet) only in large to medium Maps. 

Especially in large Maps Firebirds are not much of a concern.

I'm out of shields and repairs from golds alone :D

I am considering getting a 100 drug kit and then getting atlas 17k crystals later... and it might pay for itself.

Really its that I'm tired of dying during golds...

Really its get drug kit and atlas later or keep saving.

You don't need to buy a supply kit every time during Golds. Instead, just buy an Armor and a Repair Kit and use them when Gold comes.

Sandstone maybe? You don't have a lot of paints, so whatever you find killing you the most. Get a more expensive paint, it will last you longer.

Hmmm. It looks like you enjoy Rail/Hornet. So probably a long range paint would do. If you want a paint Major and under, you can go for Digital. But I recommend you wait and get Savanna - more meaningful protections. Another possible long range paint to consider is blacksmith. Although I do not recommend this paint over Savanna or Digital. It simply depends on what turrets you want protections against.

 

However, if you intend on getting into XP battles, you can get Fracture. You will need this for Hornet M2. I suggest you start XP battles, you probably have some XP skill already and XP battles are good in the long run - you play with more experienced and skilled players, and there is no need to worry about micro-upgrades.

Well you need to get your account to Major to start XP/BP. And if you're only using XP/BP on that account, just get Rail M2 full price.

There is a thread of the sales of the past. You can take over the dates of the major sale events, but do not calculate more then 25% discount on your rail, to be on the save side.

 

On the other hand: You have 12k, the rail M2 costs 9x.000. You lack around 80.000 crystals.

From your current rank to Major you have to climb 150.000 experience points.. so most likely you earns pretty precisely 80.000 crystals in this time frame. Together with some rank up bonuses, you will earn enough to purchase Rail M2 full price by major.
