you need to rank up to get smoky or twins.

 

but if you can't pick between those 3, I guess Hammer is a good balance between the two - Twins is short ranged and Smoky is long range, Hammer is almost exactly the mid-range version of the two, but with more punch in exchange for continuous firing.

 

doesn't matter if Hammer is weaker because its lower rank since they are M3, just spend the crystals left on MUs, its cheaper than both Twins and Smoky anyway.

 

 

too expensive, won't have enough crystals if I do buy Predator kit.

I don't see why you would want Titan M1 and Storm at that rank.

 

I have a WO1 with Fighter kit as well and I say get Viking M1 or Striker kit to get a paint along with the Viking M1 (free Smoky M1 too).

 

Firebirds may be common in battles around that rank, but Fighter kit users have other weapons they should worry about, just keep your distance from those Firebirds, or use that paint that Striker kit gives you if you chose to use the Viking (since avoiding Firebirds will be harder with that hull).

i just bought stinger kit. i want another m2 gun to have variety. Im thinking thunder, and my rail is pretty good. what should i save for? or should i buy a paint? currently twins m2 is very popular, so should i buy a paint to counter that?

I have m1 thunder, but as i dont use it that much i cant tell. It is still really good as the only kit is with mamooth m2 and thunder m2 is unlocked at captain. Maybe go for thunder m2, twins m2 or save for a kit like boar.

I have Hammer of Thor kit right now . What to get next? I'm sticking to things I haven't used much/ever on my main (I've used Railgun/Isida/Twins/Firebird/Shaft as far as turrets and Hornet/Viking/Mammoth for Hulls) what next? I'm thinking either Predator or Anvil or maybe that Vulcan+Hunter M1 +Flowery paint kit

since you have viking and ricochet, predator would be a great next step. However, dont just get the things you haven't used yet. Hornet (in my opinion) is the best, with viking second, so that would be great. hero kit would be good, as dictator n1 is good for goldbox. Fujiyama kit is good, as it has hunter m1.if you are getting that kit for the hunter m1, go for osaka (isidia m2). So, i suggest saing ages for osaka, getting hero kit soon or going for hornet m1 on its own and maybe a gun like thunder m1.

I agree with getting Osaka over Stinger. Isida is a short range weapon and is thus best used in small/medium maps where Medium and Heavy hulls do best, so while Stinger's Hornet and Fracture allows you to play on big maps, that's not where your turret does best, and the turret should be the basis of your every decision. Osaka's paint, while expensive (it comes in a cheaper kit anyway) does allow you to take on the guns that Isida really have problems dealing with, which is the hard-hitting Hammer (you get destroyed before you can even steal life) and other Isidas (just don't fight them 1v1 unless you have Isida protection).

 

I bought Osaka just before the kits swapped because I wasn't sure which one to get (Osaka or Stinger) and don't regret it one bit.

however, I do have one reason to stay away from Hornet M2, and that is my M1 Wasp with 32 MUs.

someone help me decide what to get for my WO3 account - current budget is 69 000 crystals:

 

do I buy the expensive Swash paint @20 625 cry for Firebird and Twins (those Fighter kit users are strong) protection?

do I buy the cheap Desert paint @17 250 cry for the huge Ricochet and Hammer protection? or

do I buy the low rank (cheapest) Storm paint @6 750 cry for the huge Firebird protection?

 

I already have Dragon paint with 2 MUs (24 Ricochet protection) and

Marine paint with 4 MUs (14 Firebird protection).

 

I'm going to get M1 Viking (14 475 cry) and Vulcan (21 225 cry) so (35 700 cry total) -

 

Swash's Firebird protection will let me take less overheating damage but

Desert's Hammer protection will allow me to survive 3 shots from Hammer (when using Viking anyway - I own M1 Titan with 9 MUs as well), overheating might cause me to self-destruct if I do take 3 shots from Hammer.

Storm's Firebird protection is better than Swash's but the tiny Freeze and Hammer protection won't do much.

 

get some other combo (not M1 Viking and Vulcan) - please write down.

my preferred weapons are Shaft (already have it), Vulcan, and Hammer.

Hay tankmen/women i was wondering what to purchase and when to purchase it.  So my garage is pretty terrible but i have a ton of crystals as a result.  I have m0 rail, smokey, twinz and hunter.  and only have two wimpy protective paints.  and right now I have 176k cry without buying.  so I want to get an m2 kit but am unsure about which to get so i will give some options of what i could do.

1. Buy Stinger kit and Siberian kit.

2. Buy Tornado kit.

3. Buy Boar kit

And the second question is when to buy the kit.  should i wait for the B-day sales or just buy the kit right when i rank or right now in case of option 1.

 

note; if i was higher rank i could get fortress kit of firewall kit.  but i don't think i can wait that long with m0 equipment.

I would say get better (discounted) equipment as soon as possible, you seem to be a good player (since you have 1+ k/d ratio) but your score per hour is poor (just slightly above 1 000 per hour).

my alt accounts have at least 3 k/d ratio without drugging (except on rare occasion against drugging opponents or gold box) and way more than 2 000 score per hour (was even surprised to see one of them having more than 3 000 on its low rank weapon - Twins) on their primary weapons - they all have different primary weapons.

 

here's a few suggestions though:

Siberian kit - the combo is not good, don't bother unless you are mixing it with your other stuff.

Fortress kit - don't buy so you can buy Bulldozer.

Osaka kit - a cheaper, and in my opinion, better alternative to Stinger kit - read my post above.

Tornado kit - Railgun isn't really all that great as far as I know - why do you think they made a battle format just for it?

Boar kit - while it lets you get high rank equipment, you still have to rank up for it (will you even make it?). I'm not a fan of Dictator either. I do like Ricochet though, and I'm pretty sure it needs a low hull like the Viking or Hornet - the other hulls will cause you to miss moving targets a lot because your shots will be flying in a straight line when leading the moving target and the height of every other hull will make your shots have to hit the small turret hitbox of enemy tanks if not fly over them completely (in case of the very tall Dictator). the paint doesn't match the turret (Ricochet) either in my opinion.

In my opinion either Smoky or Twins; I haven't found hammer M3 to be that good. Twins is superior to smoky in close range combat; however, Smoky is more versatile than Twins due to its much longer range and critical damage. You seem good with Smoky so I suggest that, especially since Twins M3 on a M2 medium isn't going to last long against players around your rank; you're going to attract a lot of fire in a battle with such tankers (unless, of course, you're on a reasonably compatible team). With Smoky you can attack tanks at longer range.

I'd suggest firebird, twins, smoky, or vulcan; those turrents are in my experience the op ones at M2. As for hulls, probably Viking or Titan.

The Atlas kit is very good at your rank; in a general attack pick one tank and keep on shooting it until it's destroyed or there's an immediate threat to you; then repeat. In CP Atlas can guard points; in CTF it can guard the flag. I haven't really found it efficient for acting as the primary offensive tank unless you all-out drug. When catching gold, the first thing to do is to get to the right spot, preferably 5 or more seconds before the drop. Take out light hulls if possible; do your best to ensure that tanks can't push you in a diagonal or perpendicular direction.

ok thank you for you opinions.  and I tend to play most battles in rio and noise and of course occasionally others.  and i will rank in about 2000 xp so i could do that this week no problem.  and my xp per hour is bad cuz lately i have been just playing ctf or tdm camping with m0 rail against m2 equipment. but if i went back to poly cp i could do better with the xp.  But I was wondering if it would be better to buy boar kit now and i would still have about 30k leftover that i could get some m1 hulls like hunter and viking.

I would suggest that you save for MUs because you already have diverse paints

Paints really depends on your playing style; that'll determine what turrents you'll typically come up against.

If you want to last as long as possible in a battle, a medium hull would probably be best without drugs, a heavy hull with them.

Personally i think you should get dictator m1 maybe a better paint then save for tornado because it is more versatile than stinger, after you do that i suggest firebird M2

when I mentioned your score per hour, I meant your overall, not just your recent. but its understandable because you use very weak equipment for your rank.

anyway, if you really want boar kit and play Rio or Noise most of the time, the aiming problem I mentioned shouldn't be much of an issue since both are tight maps so just use that Dictator M2 and keep your crystals for paints or MUs.

still, you should keep in mind that such an issue exists and you may still encounter it a few times especially if you have plenty of fast opponents who are always trying to avoid your powerful Ricochet M2 bullets.
