No. You need lots of MU for it to make it good (at least 35/50). It would be a different story if you were a Brigadier but you are gismo. I have 45/50 and it is sometimes hard to use in gismo battles. It only works well when you're drugging but your opponents are not (but this can be said about any turret..)

Prevailing wisdom is no, so I haven't bought it. I do hear opinions that M4 is good, and that drugging helps a lot. Both of these are expensive though.

I would also like to hear opinions on this. Vulcan's power vs Twins' constant fire. Both are good in Poly CP although Vulcan is more of a support weapon than one which can hold the point. What's really crazy - mounting Vulcan on a pair of Dictators and creating a crossfire into the Poly CP pit. Can also be done with Twins but not quite as effectively.

Better to ask @HaloScorpionV2 since he has both. Go with Vulcan; Graffiti isn't that popular. And Rock is quite popular.. I see players use Rock for Isida protection even when there are 0 twins in the battle (wth)

If you already have Twins, Firebird is the next most effective weapon, followed by Isida. Personally I find Ricochet a lot of fun to play with, but it's not a huge Crystal earner.

I have all M3 Turrets except Shaft,Vulcan and Hammer.

Ok. So my alt BorussiaDortmund_BVB currently has 171k. Based off of my predictions, I could possibly rank to Brigadier with 700k. This means I could do one of the following:

• Buy Medic (404k leftover) and maybe MU Isida/Viking a little bit (~ 15/50), then save the rest for Prometheus (and MU Fire M3)
• Buy Medic and MU Isida to 37/50. Save for Prometheus after
• Buy Jackhammer and MU Hammer to 32/50
• Buy Medic and Jackhammer (40k leftover) and save immediately for Prometheus (Eyja maybe)

All the above is excluding sales (so, buying full price). Also, 700k at Brigadier is only assuming I log on only to complete missions (which is what I do currently; in the summer I can definitely play more). More realistically though, I will be reaching Brigadier with 500k

 

Also, please do not suggest any other kits, especially anything with Smoky, Thunder, Twins.

Thunder M3 unlocks through Bulldozer (Thunder-M3 + Mammoth-M2 + Emerald) a couple of ranks later at Lt.Col. I wouldn't buy Thunder-M2 (yes, I have it but that was because I MU'd it at M1 50/50 during the SGT ranks when I obtained the Predator Kit, so when it unlocked I got it for "free", but still paid dearly for it). At least if you do not like Mammoth, Thunder-M3 and Emerald with any medium hull is still useful.

I'm also not sure about getting Wasp M3, even though I'll prob use Hornet M3 most of the time anyways. Once the summer picks up, I'm prob gonna focus a lot on my alt (ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/BorussiaDortmund_BVB/)

Twins M3 is pretty strong without MUs. But I think you'll be using your 22/50 Rico more than Twins, since Rico M3 is pretty powerful. I say just MU your gear. Maybe even MU lumberjack but I wouldn't prioritize that over upgrading Rico/Viking.

18k isn't much... It's completely up to you, but I would highly recommend Viking

Thank you - I'd planned to buy Twins if on 50% sale but that didn't happen. Was hoping for an MU sale but that didn't happen either. I'm gonna take my time MUing RicoViking and take your advise and MU Lumberjack later.

 

Lumberjack - highly recommend. I do kinda miss the 43% Firebird prot I'd worked up on Loam, but the 30+% from Lumber works okay. The Isida prot is a game changer. I can actually survive an M3+ Isida attack without drugs. If you can, it's a great paint.

 

Oh, and I wouldn't sweat a medium hull. Stick with your Titan on most maps like Rio and Poly and pop a speed boost from time to time. With Hunter, Viking, and probably Dictator (only drove one once, so IDK), you'll miss the armor more than you'll appreciate he speed.
