What to buy? Which is better?

hi,

i am saving for an m2 and i dont know which one to get, i am not a buyer and i am still only on M1 ricochet and wasp as my main tank. as you might expect, this combo is getting a bit dated at my rank...   :rolleyes: .

 

I now have about 30k crystals and i dont know wether to get freeze m2, which i would be able to get fairly soon and put myself at a bigger advantage quicker, or to soldier on for longer and then get a better M2.

Also, if i did get freeze which is cheapish, i could get hornet m2 quicker and a decent paint, as opposed to getting ricochet or something and having to wait ages for a good paint and hornet M2.

i only use light hulls as well.

 

lastly, how much of a disadvantage is freeze m2 compared to fire m2 and fire m1, also, which paint works well with freeze? i dont want to spent any more than 20000 crystals on one though.

I have currently 75k. So , lets assume that there are 50% sales (which may not be) , then i can buy Rail m2 and Fracture .

If not , I will rank up and buy wasp m2 anyway ..

I have currently 75k. So , lets assume that there are 50% sales (which may not be) , then i can buy Rail m2 and Fracture .

If not , I will rank up and buy wasp m2 anyway ..

With Wasp M2 one of the following paints is required: Forester, Corrosion, Emerald, Raccoon, Fracture, Blacksmith, Sandstone, Savanna, Bronze, Veteran (10% or 20%)

Wasp m2 can use forester but it's easily 1 shotted sometimes, highly recommended not to use this.

If I were you I'll probably go with Rail m2 and fracture.

But if you play everyday and earn 5-10k or more everyday then you are good to go with Legend.

Buy Legend if you are a xp/bp fan :)

Congrats on Bulldozer. :)

 

I'd go with Fracture, or Legend (you have Hornet M2, and although Wasp is better than Hornet, the price is too great just for some speed differences). Legend is the better option, but it's up to you. Also, if you get Legend and find it to be only average in normal battles, you might suffer in the long run. XP/BP wouldn't suffer, but you cannot play only (mainly) that. Take note that I only said might.

 

If you get Legend, will you have enough for another kit to use in normal battles? Thunder M3 isn't enough once you've ranked further into the M3 ranks (against Smokies, etc.) and I've got the impression that Rail M3 is only average in most battles, bad in short, and bad in Poly. If you don't think you will be able to afford another kit on top of that, go for Fracture/M2 Rail (cheaper option).

Your options are easy to pick from.

Legend ofc, if you get into xp/bp you will eventually buy m3 xp anyways and than you won't be doing anything with m2s or fracture.

Adding to that you won't necessarily need a sale for it so you get some moving space with the date.

Uoeno, there are tons of people who play xp/bp exclusevily, besides that he already has m3 thunder and emerald, he will be fine in avg battles for a while.

For Hornet you need 20% protection m2..

m3 hornet don't need any.

m2 wasp needs 10%-20% Protections, and m3 Wasp needs 10% protection but can play without protection paints buy gets 1 shotted sometimes.

IDK why they didn't allowed Hornet to have 10%

Don't get Vesuvius, I've heard bad reviews about it. And Vulcan M2 isn't strong, anyways. ONLY get Mosquito if you plan on playing XP/BP; other than that, don't get it. The only M2/M2 kits that are worth getting at your rank are Minotaur, Northerner, Atlas, and Firewall. Minotaur has a great combo but ok paint. Northerner also has a good combo but it's paint is only for long range maps. Atlas has all good items but Smoky/Titan is mostly a DM combo (in Poly CP you'll want Twins/Thunder). Firewall has Fire M2 (which is OP as a mofo) but Viking M2 is superior to Hunter M2 and Hohloma is an ok paint.

 

Unless you're bored of Twins M1, I think Minotaur would be good for you. Lasts quite a long time.

You'll get 16 800 from ranking up

150k - 17k is 133k

You will earn 85k experience from now till first lieutenant.

You need to be a wizard to get 133k crystals with ony 85k experience, good luck.

Would it be worth it in the long run to get the Legend Kit for the access to Prodigi and Hornet M3 early-ish on? I could care less for Railgun and XP gameplay, but I get really annoyed with how common railguns are and I badly want Prodigi ASAP. Hornet M3 is nice too, and I love how it looks.  Worth it or not?

You still need about 85000 experience points til 1st Lieut, so you will earn 85000 crystals.

This means you still need to earn 50000 crystals more, which might be achieved by completing missions.

It is just an assumption. You get more than 1 crystal per 1 exp if you win a match and less than your exp if you lose. That changes according to your team score and map you are playing in

It's not magic. It's choosing the right battles, using premium missions to the fullest and playing to the best of your abilities. Like I said in my previous post, it won't be easy, but it is possible.

If you want Prodigi as fast as possible, then certainly it's worth it. And who knows you might occasionally use that Railgun too. :o
