I think you can get it for 28990 crys, the discounts don't add up but it's cheaper anyways.

BTW It's roughly a 65% discount at the end

Nah, he should check the expiry date of his 35% discount. They usually run for a day, meaning that if he got that today, he won't have it tomorrow. Sorry to spoil this..

always m2 or better .. you can always get m1 later // but when you have more m2 in garage then you will be only getting those or m3 depends on what you have

Guys I bought fortress today just when I had enough crystals

I have already earned 10k in 1 day :D without any missions or premium 

Fortress is a good kit and especially for gold boxes, caught 4 today :D most ever in a day :DDDDDDD 

People say its a bad kit, but they havent played with it.

Now I have played with it, its a great kit and it a great kit for improving your KD.

Please dont say fortress is crap and stop making bs because you probably havent played with fortress.

Micro-upgrade Titan to 10/50 and spend 400k on micro-upgrading Smoky. The main goal is to have Smoky and Titan at M4 and then get the paints Inferno and Clay for combo necessities. At that point, maximum wreckage is sought.

 

There is one risk with the second option: The last time Double Crystals were enabled for credit card purchases was roughly 4 days ago. It is currently not available, and I do on plan on buying crystals (don't judge now <_<) so that I could afford more micro-upgrades on my Smoky. Will DoubleCrystalCard come back by Wednesday?

 

Which option should I go for?

 

You won't know when Double crystal card comes. it just comes at randome.

As some of you may know, I plan to buy Paladin kit at it's unlock rank, (Lieutenant General). What purchases would be good between now and then?

 

Note that I have Stinger and Minotaur (so Isida, Hornet, Twins, and Viking M2), and (currently) 72k crystals. I'm only 2k exp away from ranking up to captain.

 

Options:

Mosquito kit

 

Pros: Will enable me to play XP/BP battles, which I enjoy. This will also keep me from being underpowered after Brigadier, as M2 vs. M3 doesn't matter in format battles. The paint will be useful for a long time as well. Oh, and free supplies!

Cons: No major cons that I can think of.

 

Atlas kit

 

Pros: Includes Smoky M2, the best M2! Add Titan, and I'll have an amazing M2 combo for every map! Loam is also great. Free supplies as well.

Cons: I've heard Smoky M2 loses power after Brigadier. Would prevent any MUing. Loam is slightly superfluous, as I own Storm.

 

MUs for Minotaur

 

Pros: if Minotaur is great against M2s and decent against M3s, 10 MUs will help greatly. I'll be very OP and it might help in the long term.

Cons: I've heard nothing good about MUing M2s, even partway. Lack of diversity might get boring as I save and grind. No free supplies, possibly necessitating a supply kit purchase later on. Useless in no MU battles.

 

Paints

 

Pros: more protective options, nice looks. Extra prot. will be great vs. M2s and M3s.

Cons: the new paint update could render this wasted crystals. Again, lack of diversity in equipment. No free supplies, very little advantage, and I just missed a paint sale.

 

 

Looking at these options, which one is the best? Are there other options I should consider? If so, why?

Stop going for anymore M2s. you have enough. Rank to L.T conel and buy an M2/M3 kit or wait till Brigadier and buy a few M3 kits.

My friend AliceTreatPU and HaloScorpionV2 have opposite feelings about the importance of micro-upgrading. PU believes it is best to stick with one combo you really enjoy and MU it to M4 for best results in battle. Bored with one combo? Nay, you'll be stacking crystals. However, V2 believes micro-upgrading is not a concept to worry about until at the rank of or . Unless you have a combo you really like, you can take the advantage of -50% sale and get what you want for your garage. 

    This leaves me with two options:

 

Wasp M3 at 50% off and then save for Stormbringer to get Dictator M3 (great for gold boxes, ya know), Zeus (who doesn't want that gorgeous paint that face-palms Firebird), and Vulcan M3 (I've got Titan, perfect marriage now). The reason for Wasp is because I love to use it, and it would make a good combo on big maps for CTF and DM. That all sounds like fun and great diversity.

That depends on whether you want diversity or a strong combo.

Stormbringer kit is awesome, you can also combine Zeus + Titan M3 + Vulcan. I have done it on my other account.

 

I would go option 2, then get Stormbringer & Wasp M3 at a later date.

If fun is more important, then go option 1.

 

I don't know about MUing late at FieldMarshal, but when I first brought Guardian at General, I'm already stacking MUs on it ASAP.

I would do vampire. Again, this is just my opinion. I believe Holagain would be more fun, but it seems like your trying to rank fast.

Same thing: If you want to make Titan-Smoky strong, then go MUs on Titan. Diversity - Wasp M3.

 

(Although I'm not sure about plain M3 Wasp in normal battles. I brought it so that I could try BP later. :ph34r: )
