I can earn 1 crystal per XP. All of these kits(Ram-Man-o-war-Medic) cost around 750k crystals. I have around 700k XP till end general. If you add the rank up gifts and the fact that I will be able to earn more crystals per XP in higher levels, then yes, I will be able to get them.

Ram and bulldozer are good for Polygon CP. I would also go for Jackhammer after, because it is OP.

1. Don't buy single turrets or hulls. Buy kits instead.

2. I have seen your profile. You already got an m2 turret (freeze) as well as a few m1 ones. If you lack anything, it is a medium or heavy hull, not tutrrets. I would suggest not buying anything now and start saving for M3 equipment. That stuff is expensive.

3. If you still want to buy one of these turrets, go for rico. Rico is amazing, though hard to control with a light hull like hornet.

Hey guys, been lurking on this forum for a while now. Love the discussion.

 

Can anyone help me choose between Firewall and Ram? I'm close to rankup, and was previously very inclined towards Firewall but not so sure now. You see, I have spent a huge amount of time on Monte Carlo CTFs, and consistently rank within top 3 if no one's drugging. I miss the adrenaline rush that comes with close-range weapons though, after experiencing it first-hand a couple of times in battle (firebird m1), and on my alt account where I used Wasp/Freeze m0.

 

Reading the product kit review for Firewall sealed the deal for me I think, but then I came across the Ram kit on this forum. I never used heavy hulls before (too slow for my liking), but would really want to start playing more in Polygon battles, where Railgun just doesn't deliver enough for me. I'm looking for a kit that can last me all the way into M3, and preferably fun to use as well. I'm open to all kit suggestions though.

First off: Welcome! ^_^

And to answer your question: if you want to play more Polygon battles, Ram is probably the better choice. Hunter lacks the HP that is needed to win those Polygon games plenty of times. Also, both Twins and Titan m2 will last you well into the m3 ranks. The same goes for Firebird, but not for Hunter, because the far superior Viking m3 unlocks early on. When it comes down to fun though, I'd say Firewall is the winner of the two. It's fast, but still has decent HP, has a really strong turret and allows you to destroy multiple enemies at once.

Bottom line: If you only want to play more Polygon, go for Ram. If you want to explore other maps too, go for Firewall.. A side note: Hunter combines really well with Railgun too.

 

Any other thoughts?

If you can afford to buy another kit before you reach Lieutenant Colonel, then go for a kit that unlocks earlier (preferabley a light or medium hull kit) and get Bulldozer once you rank up to Lieutenant Colonel. Bulldozer is definitely one of the best kits in the m2 ranks.

Nah, not bulldozer. You would rather save for an FULL M3 kit rather than an M2/M3 kit.

Yes. Please do not use big size red colour (or any colour other than default) font, because it hurts our eyes. We can see your posts when they are composed using default size and colour.

I need help!!!

There are 2 plans for me.

After a lot of thought, I decided that I will be able to get 3 kits till general.

1. Minotaur or Ram probably at First leutenant or Captain.

(Maybe fire m2 instead.)

2. Bulldozer or Man-O-War at Leutenant colonel or Colonel.

3. Jackhammer or Legend at Leutenant General or General.

I only play in polygon cp. (I also play other maps for missions).

I have 140k.

I don't know if ram is better than minotaur for polygon.

I'm not sure about legend. I want to play xp/bp but I heard that Jackhammer is very good. I will also have an other long-range turret: Thunder.

Please tell ne if my plan is good and tell me which option is better from the 2 I mentioned before.

Are there any better options??

guys I plan on getting refrigerator kit on my alt way later on (mr.stealyourgoldbox) I will have enough for another m3 kit since I'm going to buy avalanche at wo4 then save all crystals from then on out Whats another good m3 kit to get? or should I get like emerald and some other good paint? Or m4 my freeze/Viking? (either one would like freeze  more though)

the thing is no matter what on that alt as soon as it gets to brigidiar I'm buying a freeze m3 kit :P that account is going to be mostly freeze I'm going toplay on it since I really like freeze :P

Plx, Harvester vs Striker. What will pair good with my current kit on @Total_SkiIl. I am thinking Striker since vik M1 ^_^.

Harvester is definitely the better kit.

 

However, yes, Striker kit would go best with your current kit, Viking isida and Wasp smoky are good combos. Wasp vulcan and Titan isida not so much.

Titan-isida is a good combo for small maps (Hill, Island, Arena) or defending on bigger ones (e.g. Silence CTF, Noise CTF).
