What to buy? Which is better?

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm about to rank LtCol, I currently have 201K crys and I want to start buying M3s. I'm not sure what the kits have been doing recently but I was choosing between Bulldozer (Mammoth M2, Thunder M3, Kodiak-TC M3) and Ant (Wasp M2, Isida M3, Badger-TB M3). I don't care about paints as neither come with Tiger.

I have none of the above.

I've never been a huge fan of Wasp or Mammoth.

You seem to like medium hulls.

 

If you feel alright with your Hunter M2, then in M3/M4 you will love the Viking. In M3/M4 the Viking is better then the Hunter, mostly for reasons of weight. The M3/M4 turrets have so powerfull impact force, that they make your Hunter spin around and miss all shots.

 

So look at the M3 kits that run a Viking. They unlock pretty early.

 

Up to then work hard to survive with your existing M2s. I would suggest to _not_ get any more M2 turrets.. it iseems you have spent far too much on M2 hulls already. M3/M4 is the target in this game, and you have enough means to get there with your current equipment.

 

As soon as you have your M3 Viking kit play this hull a lot - it will also combine great with your M2 Rico. In those Ranks around Brigadier a Viking M3 is a decent hull for CP and can compete with M2 Titans easily.

Save then for another kit that comes with M3 Dictator or Titan (you look like you could be a fan of cardinal - Twins/Titan).. and you are good in the business.

 

With Viking and Titan; Twins M3 Rico M2 and another M3 turret that comes from your Viking kit, you have a decent garage for CP & DM (Titan based), CTF defense (Titan based) and CTF offense/midfield (Viking).

M3 titan/dictator kits are stupidly expensive, you should insted mu your existing m3s or buy modules.

I bought ant at your rank and it's not a bad idea, you'll be extremely op for a few ranks. BUT remember, that buing either one of the kits closes off the cheapest m3 viking kit; medic. This will force you to either buy jackhammer, wait for paladin, rockshaper or stock viking m3 OR buy a overpriced m3 kit like raiden, sniper or refrigirator. Don't concider m3 hornet kits, they are alot weaker and you can already play xp.

Don't buy both kits like i did, i got bulldozer for 150k on last sale, which will propably not be an option for you.

I don't have Hornet past M1 yet and I want to be able to play xp preferably. Should I go with Bumblebee, despite it not being great as a kit, or should I try to last till something like Rockshaper but be unable to play XP?

Both are good, and both are beasts with drugs.

It's about ur playing style, which u r better with and which u prefer...

I'd recommend to u, buy any of em, both are OP.

Go for Smoky. It is quite good in Polygon CP as you can camp near the edges as well as going to the point.

If you like to sit on point 24/7 buy Hammer, if you want to camp from higher point buy Smoky.

I would say Osaka, because Freeze M2 is pretty bad. But I still would not recommend the Osaka kit.

 

I would suggest saving up for a good M2 kit, such as Minotaur, Firebolt, Ram, etc. They will last you a much longer time.

He's gonna barely make enough crystals for Osaka when he is WO4. Boar is double the price. He will not be able to get 75k in a single rank. This means, he will probably have enough for Boar when he is in 3rd lieutenant, 2nd or 1st. But by this time, he will be highly outclassed by the other M2s, and will need to buy another M2 kit, or somehow try to survive a long time, until some M3s. 

 

He also has M1 Viking, Titan, and Vulcan. Although not ideal, it should be enough to get him to 3rd/2nd Lieutenant.

Hammer M2 is average. Smoky M2 on the other hand is one of the best M2s, as well as being very versatile. Hammer and Smoky are very close in terms of thier usefullness in CPs, both have thier advantages and disadvantages. But I would definitely recommend Northerner for you.

Instead of Bumblebee or Rockshaper, why not get Touche or Legend? Both kits will last you to Marshall where Stormbringer unlocks, they are actually pretty good kits (I know from experience), and buying one of them opens up XP/BP for you.

Depends on rank. You'll start to see plenty of Firebird M1s, as you go higher. As for the other turrets, it depends more on the map you play. Freeze M1 is not very common, for example; especially on large maps. Twins is also quite popular, along with Fire.

What would pair with M1 Railgun (obviously around the unlock rank, WO3)? I'm referring to both hulls and a second turret, but hulls being more important.

Thank you both, especially for the Viking tip. I have noticed the light weight a lot against M3s. However it was mentioned buying either kit would close off Medic. Does buying kits limit the kits for sale in the future? and where can I find this info?

What M2 kit should I buy?

I normally play on Noise CTF and Polygon CP and occasionally, Rio CTF.
I need a good mid-ranged M2 kit that won't be outclassed, better than stinger/avalanche but maybe not as high as mosquito/northerner.
