At M1 stage buy only one kit to save crystals for M2s. Out of these three I think Striker (Module is good) is best. But I recommend Hammer of thor or Fighter.

 

Tornado and Pitbull (Modules are not bad.)

 

Jackhammer is best kit in Tanki. It's good at all ranks. I have M4 Hammer Viking and mostly I play with this combo now.

Healer is a cute kit, you can buy :)

 

-If you don't want Thunder's splash damage, buy smoky then.

 

They haven't told us that when this update is gonna release. BTW this update was announced in this vlog.

LOL i hate the self-damage lol how about hammer of thor then save up for aborigine on my rtl (road to legend), then raiden, jackhammer and maybe smoky m4 as well, get ricochet m3, microupgrade thunder to m4 as well. My rtl won't stop when I hit Legend, but Legend 15. So, when I hit Legend, it will change to rtl15 (road to legend 15)

If you think that you can't gather enough crystals in this account to get kits, create a new one.

 

Few tips to get product kits easily:

- At the beginning, just buy a M0 combo and start saving for M1 kit.

- Don't buy modules and don't microupgrade your equipment.

- Never spend crystals on paints, mission changing, supplies, gifts.

- Complete daily missions regularly.

- Don't leave battles in the middle.

- Participate in contest & giveaways, there are many.

 

If you do this, I'm sure you that you will be able to buy any kit you want. :)

You are clearly not a Poly CP player. Fair enough.

 

The rub with Hammer modules are that they generally won't save you. Even 50% protection - against Hammer DD with 5 shots, your're either dead or so weak that the next feather touch takes you out.

 

Same problem with Fire modules although those can be useful for Vulcans

 

I've found modules the most useful against turrets which do damage over time, like Twins, Rico, Smoky, Vulcan, and even Thunder and Rail. Drop their yield by 50% and you own them.

 

Of course I'm a hypocrite with my Striker Magnum Twins recommendation. That's really survival strategy for Poly CP be sometimes use those high yield splash weapons to pound the point. Seconds of survival can change a battle.

I do play Polygon CP but not much nowadays after that update. Twins is quite popular there and since I'm at these ranks people probably have that self damage removal alteration. I don't play Polygon CP often

 

I do need a Magnum protection,Thunder protection and Railgun protection. Smoky is not very frequent but can cause alot of damage even with the Dps decrease.

 

5 shots is not bad cause hammer reload takes a bit long and if you have a turret like firebird you can roast them before their 3rd or 4th shot

I remember last year! Once I stopped playing tanki. The only way I got crystals to buy Viking m3 was because of that EUFA contest which I won 50k in :P. I regret not entering from my noob acc's. Imagine 50k for a sergeant free!!!!. I think you had to be coporal or higher to enter that contest though

I will rank up to WO5 fairly soon, and I'll be looking to buy one of these M2 kits: Voltage, Boar, Tornado, or Anaconda (I already have Isida M2, so Stinger is out).

 

Please answer both questions if possible:

 

1. Which of these four kits would overall be the best choice, in terms of power and longevity when facing higher ranks? (Note: I generally play all types of battles). I'm kinda leaning toward Tornado but I'm really torn.

 

2. If I choose to just wait and not buy a new kit when I rank up, will my current turrets hold up in the Lieutenant ranks?

My most advanced turrets are Shaft M1 (7/10), Isida M2 (2/10), Firebird M1 (6/10), and Smoky M1 (4/10).

 

With a few more MUs, my Firebird, Shaft, or Smoky could essentially have the power of an M2. My current plan is to buy an early M2 kit (one of the four I mentioned) and then focus on MUs.

 

3. Does this seem like a solid plan? What would you change?

I bought Voltage & Avalanche. Both are very good.

 

Tornado is definitely a good choice. Buy it and start playing XP/BP too.

 

Don't Microupgrade your equipment. You will suffer from non-availability of crystals later. You should not have upgrade M1s if you aren't buyer.

For now complete MUs of Shaft and firebird ON SALES. Don't do it without sale and with speedups. And if you wanna MU M2, just upgrade one item, don't upgrade all M2s you have. Save crystals to buy goods on sale or for kits.

I concur, but I bought some paints on sale and it hasn't impacted me much

(of course they were on 35% sale and most of them were the solid-color paints)

Would it be worth it to have both viking and dictator for offense and defense or just have the hunter which is right in between. I could buy a kit containing viking and buy dictator separately(or the other way around), or buy hunter in a kit. but hunters is also really expensive at m1.

I actually think I might be able to make it. I'm at around 22k and almost at next rank.(Beginners pass gives you x2 crys but only x1.5 exp so I'm getting more crys than exp)

i bought Voltage when i was WO5. It was pretty good back then but it is in no way shape or form a long term kit. I try using it now and get slaughtered , buy Boar or Tornado orwait for a couple ranks and buy Firewall. I bought firewall at unlock rank to and its amazing. Just make sure you have the M2 alt
