I honestly don't think modules are that important until Major rank, which is when M2 modules start to unlock. Thanks though :)

Its better to have a head start IMO. Also don't go buying lots of M2 protection modules, try and get the best ones through kits because they are a waste of crystals at those ranks.

Minotaur is nice if you can buy twins alteration to remove splash. Any Thunder kits in your rank would be OP too.

I play with Striker, and am looking for a module with Striker protection (all 4 mentioned modules have Striker protection as you can see). I don't need an Isida protection as a main 'partner' with Striker protection  - I got Badger T-E M3 (Firebird-Isida-Hammer) which suits me well when I need an Isida module (in Island/Hill etc.)... Seems like I'd go for Ursa T-J.

As I said above, I need a Striker protection. Which enemies I would face in battles I would use Striker for (with which turrets)?

 

Ricochet is annoying but Magnum as well too. Everything can be annoying. Too bad that I don't have a Spectrum one.

I recommend smoky (I bought atlas kit). Its great for every kind of battle. In DM all you need to do is camp at DD dropzones and you can 3/4 shot anything.

 

I suggest buying some m2 modules because the m3 modules are ripoffs. M2 modules = 100k ( 25%)    M3 modules = 250k (35%) <-- 150k more for 10% increase

I agree with the smoky choice, smoky is one of if not the most powerful turrets at m3. Shame it gets its fall from grace at m3 though.

 

About m3 modules, they are not ripoffs because you can MU them all the way up to 50%. It is realtively cheap to get them up to 5/20, and you get 40% from 3 turrets. In contrast, MUing m2 modules past 3 or 4 levels is not economically viable, so saving for m3s is the better option.

Then, I thought of getting ricochet m1(24k) but then I ranked up and I can buy twins m1(36k) as well so I'm not really sure what to save up for.

I could also just keep saving up until I reach a higher rank then I could buy some m2's but my current garage does work too well for earning xp.

Dont bother with m1

If u want to get an early m2 kit, go for stinger

Otherwise, tornado or simmon kit will do fine.

Don't trust the ratings page. It only counts crystals earned from battles. Contests and missions and the like don't count.

shaft is very crapy when mounted on any hull except mammoth. if you want to get m3 shaft as well as a light hull then get centaur and any mammoth kit, I'd suggest either destroyer or eyfjhfuhifuhighezeguzehuzeg. or you could also get giant kit, it has a bad combo but the module is very good as you'll often get into sniper's duels whenever there's another shaft on the enemy team.

 

so, get centaur, and destroyer, eyggizguhizeuz or giant for the mammoth. giant has the more suitable module but the other 2 are better combos.

Smoky is one of best M2 turrets.  If you buy smoky m1 at W02 you'll want to MU it as quickly as possible as it may seem a bit weak at that rank.

Guardian is a good kit - I bought that one.

However, the Titan hull may seem a bit slow unless you play smaller maps.

I bought guardian after I bought the Medic Kit to get Viking M3.

 

Alternatively - If you have an m2 medium hull you can MU that some while saving for Guardian.

touche of course! wasp is superior to hornet. hornet is more stable but stability is for noobs who can't control impact and their own recoil. instability helps you to do stunts and hit enemies at very high/low vertical angles. on top of that wasp is faster, it's turret is more towards the back, and it's a lot harder to get hit by shaft from the front or back.
