What to buy? Which is better?

i bought tsunami and cupid kits in the shop on TO mobile (total $34 NZD including tax), then use viking + hammer on the Flash client. but i feel like the dark energy kit was more worth it bc MFS (minus-field stabilization which is unlockable at master sergeant).

p.s i have 10 weekly containers waiting when i log onto tanki next (from the war of space)

You could MU Viking and 1 or 2 of your favorite turrets, then save for an M2 kit, no more M1s. And it's better to save Weekly Containers as far as you can, because the rewards increase eahc rank.

He's using the idea of buying Keeper and MUing it to M1.10 and use it until the WO ranks. Which is a good strategy option.

But then he suggests buying Osaka or Siberian when in WO ranks, which in my opinion is a bad idea.

What are you going to do with Hunter M1 when you have Titan M1.10?

The best option after going the Keeper way is to get an M2 kit, that after a few MUs become the replacement to Keeper.

If I remember correctly I believe the person whom I was advising wanted Osaka or Siberian, and I tried to fit it into the plan.

Oof, Tsunami is really weak. Bought it at New Years because I saw Wasp/Hammers dominating but then realized that Tsunami was cheaper than stock Hammer M1 (lol) and bought it instead, even though I already had Titan.

i don't use hammer M1 with titan tho

also, if hunter is better than viking, then predator kit is better than matrix kit?

Thunder is the one turret that doesn't quite click with Hunter IMO. I would grudgingly advise you to get Matrix over Predator if you were dead-set on Thunder. Aside from that, Predator is way over-priced because it uses an expensive paint.

My keeper kit is now 5/10, and my protection is 18%. I was looking at the missions for the demolition war, and I'm getting ambitious to pushing myself to complete all the missions. I've concluded that I'll buy wasp m1 for mobility, and with the introduction of tankoins, I'll grind for them to save for boar kit in the shop. This way it'll alleviate pressure on my budget. I'm also planning on buying osaka instead of siberian. With these changes, I think I can allocate more crystals to upgrading my keeper.

My new plan is:

1. Get Wasp M1, MU it to 2 or 3 out of 10

2. Buy Osaka kit

3. Save all my tankoins for boar kit in the shop (Given that boar will arrive in the shop at WO3, and seeing how slow my current progress is due to the expiration of my beginner's pass. That should give me enough time to save if I play minimally)

Other goals:

MU my keeper whenever I can spare a few thousand crystals

Get firewall kit

Buy mosquito kit.

Thoughts?

No way Jose. No way you're getting that many Tankoins. I'm thinking that perhaps by Marshal a player who really concentrates on getting them might be able to buy a paint (?). You're not getting Boar kit anytime soon, because you have a rank limit in the shop for it.

Maybe you can answer youself. You're gaining about 9000 exp a week and making about 5500 crystals. Add other rewards like from containers, and you'll likely see that you'll only have enough to keep MUing your Keeper and save for an M2 kit in the Garage, forget about the Shop.

If you don't have money to spend, I think you should rank slower.

If you do the challenge, I'm not sure but you'll likely end up a WO3.

If he wants to get a battle pass to go along with the war missions he will have absolutely no problems muing a combo to m2 and buying one if not 2 m2 kits because I did the same thing during war of super powers, it was my only purchase and it's been good for the low price it had.

Should I get wasp m1?

And, another question. Will keeper at 5/10 last me through the WO ranks?

The way you're going I think no, unless you buy Firefly kit from Garage when and if it appears next week and before you rank up.

Is Hunter M2 a good fit with my 9/10 Firebird M1? I plan at some point to also buy the Compact Fuel Tanks alt, as it's strong and seems to fit perfectly with Hunter's Overdrive.

Problem is, I'm not sure if I want to replace Wasp with it. My Wasp is M1 8/10, but I still die a lot. This might be bc people drug a lot and I pretty much only play the mobile version lately, but idk. I played a Hill CTF PRO Battle with my cousin and some random people with my Fire/Wasp, but my K/D was almost perfectly 1.00 in that battle. In MM, I get lower K/Ds. (If it matters, modules I use are Firebird 20%, Railgun 21%, Gauss 20%.)

I'm apprehensive because I've already sunk so many crystals into MUing my Wasp. I've stopped recently because M2 is all the way at Colonel and I don't really need to rush.

At your rank your Fire and Wasp are still good, but at higher ranks, even fully upgraded, it will feel weaker and weaker because these two unlock late, meanwhile you'll be facing M2s with many upgrades.

If you don't like Dictator, you can buy Hunter during Tankers Day to use it with your Freeze and Gauss, which you should be upgrading. Then when Fire unlocks you can MU it if you want and maybe start using it. But I wouldn' do something like that, instead I'd save for M3 Kit.

I like Dictator. It's got good health and a great Overdrive, but the speed isn't exactly suited for a short ranged turret like Firebird, unless I use a Speed Boost. Freeze is different because it slows enemies down.

I want Hunter because it's a middle ground between Wasp and Dictator. It's faster than Dictator, and has more HP than Wasp (Hunter M2 has 600 more HP than Wasp M2). Plus, the Overdrive can work in synergy with Firebird's burn, because enemies are temporarily helpless and can't use an RK.

Thanks for reminding me about Tankers Day. It's about 5 weeks away, which gives me more time to save up on crystals (I have ~62k right now). During Tankers Day, I can buy Hunter M2 and Compact Fuel Tanks on sale, which I'm predicting to be 50% off.

Firebird+compact tanks works great with hunter, you can also use viking if you like the slippery hull more, the overdrive is like a free recharge and it's easy to make kills with it (But so it is with hunter and compact tanks, as they're helpless against the burn effect).

I'm not too sure about how freeze works with hunter, as their effects are similar, and zapping an enemy would become mainly a way to take their supplies or flag away instead of priming them for a guaranteed death (It's mostly guaranteed to lose to freeze anyway if you let it get close enough...).

Now you also have gauss and railgun dictator, both of which are absolutely devastating, I use both of them.

I suggest you walk away from wasp unless you become skilled at wasp freeze, since the OD has more synergy with freeze, but I believe it's worthless to use with firebird now. I only ever score bad with it, even with compact tanks whereas it does okay/good with both viking and hunter.

With firebird hunter I've topped a scoreboard vs field marshals as a 3 red star rank, doing 3 out of 5 the caps for my team too so I think yours is a good idea if you like firebird.

Yes, you can use Hunter with Fire and Freeze, or Dictator when camping with Gauss and Rail.

But don't buy more M2s after that, just MU the ones you have.

For me having Fire and Freeze is being redundant, same with having Gauss and Rail. Why two turrets of the same range. But in your case an MUed Freeze can replace Fire until Fire M2 is unlocked and MUed.

Don't forget to save crystals for 1 MU of your Trooper too.

im trying to decide whats better rico or hammer

I use both of them in battles, and I always find Ricochet to be more reliable. It has better DPS, better range, and its ricochet effect is more useful than Hammer's. This makes it superior in deathmatch battles (basically for killing).

But I'm talking about stock turrets here, a Hammer with the duplet alteration can still perform incredibly well in battles where its module isn't that widespread.

Taking modules into account, both turrets suffer from an abundance of modules the higher you go on the rank ladder, but I still believe Ricochet can adapt better to them. My advice is to go for Rico regardless of the hull you use.

yea cause i do ctf and i need a good hit kill and run gun lol something that can throw off the enemys aim

Hit and run strategies are mainly used with Hammer, so you must specify what type of gameplay you're more into. Hammer is also better at knocking off enemies aim. It's also possible with Ricochet but to a lesser extent.

I see that most of your in-game hours are in ctf matches, so for those you can expect a similar performance from both turrets and no clear winner. But since you already have an m2 Thunder, Hammer is already similar to it, in that it deals high damage but with large time intervals between. A high DPS turret, which is one that shoots continuously, is something you'll need to get you through the middle ranks (a.k.a. buyers paradise).

I agree.

Hammer is a turret that requires specific skills and experience with the game, and Rico, with alteration, covers similar ranges as Thunder. Player also has Striker M2.

What I think player needs is a shorter range turret, could be a close ranger or Twins.
