What to buy? Which is better?

Don't do Thunder again. Branch and try Gauss or smoky (unless you have elsewhere as well)

I'm actually really tempted to just go prime viking/magnum RGC or even mortar if it's affordable and spam the bullets around with OD...

Alternatively titan rail with LCR seems nice too.

I'm often get indecisive with 50% sales, have been saving loads of crystals but worried about spending them on the wrong thing.

So could buy and heavily MU M1 Wasps and Titans for some accounts (Wasp / Smoky might suit me), but not sure how often I'd use them and want to have enough crystals to easily get M3+ Hunter / Smoky / modules when I get to that stage.

So... protection modules... four accounts...

Account #1 is at 217K XP / 2nd LT and has 920K crystals, and six modules at 18%

Account #2 (this one) is at 282 XP and has 839K crystals, and five modules at 18%

Account #3 is at 187K XP / WO5 and has 744K crystals, and five modules at 18%

Account #4 (started after last year's War) is at 125K XP / WO4 and has 242K crystals, and five modules at 18%

The six modules are Smoky, Thunder,  Rico, Fire, Rail, and Gauss. Accounts #2 and #3 don't have Smoky, and account #4 doesn't have Rico.

All four accounts have Thunder, Rail, and Gauss equipped at the moment. One reason why I'm reluctant to fill in any gaps is never thinking I have enough time for equipment changes in MM battles, so what's the point of getting something the M2 Rico on account #2 or M2 Freeze modules if I'm never going to use them?

Also haven't upgraded any M1 module past 18% because I don't want to get to the M2 unlock rank too early and waste crystals (but doesn't apply so much to the two lower rank accounts).

Also, buying an M1 + three MUs and then buying the M2 in a 50% sale at its unlock rank still costs between 65-70K, the same as buying an M2 module in a 30% sale when you haven't bought any protection against that turret before.

So definitely going to buy M2 Gauss and Rail modules for account #2, but not sure about Rico and gap filling on other accounts as well.

What's people's strategy for buying modules generally?

Sorry for the ramble.

In my opinion it's too late for Wasp, Titan and Smoky M1, at those ranks. I have M1.10 Titan and Smoky at WO3 in one account and will start saving for M2 kit for when I reach WO5. But I don't have a lot of Crystals like you, looks like I had spent it instead of saving. That WO3 has about the same GS than your SporkZilla account, but you have nice savings.

I think you should wait for an M2 kit to then MU it to M2.10.

If I were you I'd buy a drone and put 3 MUs on it, 1 today, 2 tomorrow, then buy some M2 modules and some MUs too.

Hello again.

My Rico is m2.7, on its way to m2.8.

Hornet is 1.9, on its way to m2.

Dictator is still 2.1.

So, do I save up for Chiropractor kit now? I only have 27k, and I'm 1/4 of the way to second lieutenant(Chiro unlock rank).

I bought the hunter and magnum m1 kit on my lower account, and I'm really loving hunter.  That overdrive is absolutely godlike, titans get rekt, dictators get rekt, wasps get rekt, everyone gets rekt.  (I'm also gonna MU it to m2 smoky and hunter)

If I do get Chiropractor, I assume I should MU hunter to m3, along with rico? I'm going to use rico as my main turret, and use shaft in other situations.   Also, is shaft better with hunter, hornet, or dictator? OD wise hornet is best, followed by hunter, but the shape and health really goes in dictator's favour.

Thanks.

Best cheap low-rank M2 product kit? Has to be under

I don't know about other kits, but I'm just going to point out the fact that literally everyone buys the boar kit when it comes around, so everyone will be  playing rico with rico protection.  Dictator overdrive spam in teams can be really goddamn annoying/op too, if the teammates aren't all selfish.

I think the dictator rail one is great, protection vs the often-oneshot stick and the often-oneshot stick for yourself, with heightened DD duration due to both drug and OD. (The true oneshot stick is, of course, shaft.) Also, dictator is a great hull. That turning capability is sweet.

Hello there. I would still advise you get Chiro, and here’s why:

The Eagle module is amazing. It opens up so many possibilities to you, especially if you’re the Juggernaut. If you have it even at a decent level, most people will not dare to mess with you.

Shaft M2 is pretty OP. If you upgrade it to the level where it does a flat 2647+ damage, this will automatically allow you to one shot any M2 without Eagle that is not a heavy.

Since you already have Dictator and Hornet, you have quite a bit of flexibility. Although Dictator is weak at M2, bear with it through to M3 and it’ll do wonders. A mechanic that I really like about it is that if you fall sideways at about 45 degrees, you’ll bounce and get back up, something which is a lot harder to do with other hulls. Also, OD wise, Dictator is very strong. You can literally walk with your teammates, get zapped by a Hunter, and then proceed to HUMILIATE the Hunter by using your own OD. It’s great fun. And we also know that Dic is the best for golds...

You also have Hornet, a very good hull to pair along with Shaft because you will just one-shot people out of existence with its OD. Dome? Ha! Eagle M4? Ha! Double Armor? Ha! You’re mine!

I know you want to pair a hull with Rico, and out of those hulls, I’ll have to suggest Dictator again. Its high profile with its good weight ensures that you have laser-like accuracy even if you get blasted by a Railgun. I found that Shaft is also an excellent fit with Dictator, especially if you have to camp and have to take a few hits. Keep ensuring that your HP doesn’t go to nil and you’ll always be able to snipe your opposition away.

Although Hunter is good and was my favorite, I realized that it isn’t as good at the moment as I made it out to be. I would suggest that you leave it at M2 and then buy the M3 version separately. This is why I’m going to propose that you instead microupgrade your Dictator to M3. It is an amazing investment, and trust me, it will pay off. It’s a lot better than you think, even though at M2 it’s cheap and kinda noobish, which is why many flock towards it.

Of course, you could opt to leave Dictator as is and to microupgrade Hunter, and I think that’s a good option, too. I’m giving you my opinion - that of a seasoned Shaft/Rico veteran, and I truly do think that Dictator will grow on you.

But hey, whatever works for you. That’s why we have this topic.

Unless the wiki is wrong, Hunter m2 is faster and has more health than dictator. Hunter m3 has the same health as dictator m3, and is faster.

I’m definitely gonna get Chiro and Rico m3 on another mu sale, but hunter vs dictator is still undecided. I am definitely leaning towards hunter though, as the stats are just straight up better(aside from weight and stuff).  I like hunter's OD a lot more, and the height hasn't really mattered for the goldboxes I caught or could have caught.

Edit: I checked in the garage, hunter definitely has more speed at both m2 and 3, more health at m2, and the same health at m3

I am bored, no longer play, have 66k.

Suggest something new and interesting for me to buy in next 50% sales but not a drone or module ty

Maybe Titan and Rico. Titan can go with Smoky, Twins, Rico and Fire. And Rico can go with Titan and Viking.

You do realize you can't buy anything with 66k at Marshal?

I was thinking of a one off purchase that's new and interesting. Gauss M3? Or Striker or Magnum? Maybe getting a heavier hull is useful, but as I don't play that much I don't see it that high in my eyes, anyone with compelling arguments otherwise are welcome.

I don't have a requirement for if something is useful or not, I just wanna spend my crys for something fun and new for me so halp

I think it depends on how you get your fun, for me Gauss and Magnum are boring, but I think it's fun for those that like to camp and kill.

Striker is fun for me as stock, and there are also interesting alterations.
