What to buy? Which is better?

Atlas vs Minotaur

1. golds

• Golds - Atlas. Titan's pushing ability helps. Viking isn't really considered a gold hunting hull, even with Twins. Twins/Titan is better though (than Minotaur)
• Poly CP? I would go with Minotaur. Smoky isn't great for Poly CP, although M2 Smoky at your rank should be ok.
• CTF - in general, Minotaur. More mobile, good for attacking. Atlas for defending purposes only. For midfielding wth Smoky, you'll want Hunter or Viking.
• Both are good, idk how to comment on this

In general - Minotaur. Twins/Viking is much more versatile. Smoky/Titan is good for Poly DM or defending in CTF (large maps) only. Even though Atlas has the better paint, I think you'll like Minotaur better. Heavy hulls can be boring/slow at times. Edited May 10, 2016 by FC_BayernMunchen

Go for diversity. Buy Hammer M3 and MU it, if you must MU. But if I were you, I'd buy another M3 instead of MU'ing.

Buy Twins. Hammer is very frustrating. Picture it. Fire two shots. Your target pops a repair kit. You need at least twelve second before you can hope to kill him. You NEVER have that much time.

He already has Twins. And you need to change your view of hammer.. Hammer is good for other things other than what you described (e.g. flipping enemies in Noise)

I already have Twins, and M4 Hammer reload time is 1.8 not 12 :P

guys, so I did some math and came to the conclusion that if starting from yesterday, i were to earn exactly 6000 per day till 5th june I would reach a total of around 187k, so If i pushed a bit more, I could perhaps get viking.

 

My question is

M1 Vulcan generally better unless very small map (because it's quite a leap from M0). Hammer not bad either. But both aren't worth their high M1 price.

M1 Rail and Rico both averagely good but Rail may last longer. Depends heavily on map choice.

Freeze M1 comparatively better than Smoky M1 in certain scenarios and small maps. Trumped by every other M1, except MAYBE Isida.

(I have tried and tested all five, so you can bank on me :) )

 

 

M1 Freeze isn't that bad. I have all the M1s you mentioned on my alts. Here's what I have to say about each:

 

Hammer M1 - It's ok. On the M1 spectrum, I guess it's average. Usable to WO5 maybe. Overall, nothing too impressive. Reload kinda sucks too

 

Vulcan M1 - Turret rotation is slow. I would rate it stronger than Hammer M1, but Vulcan is fun to use cause it's easy to annoy others with. M2 unlocks somewhat early. On the M1 spectrum, I rate it above-average

 

Rail M1 - Average M1. Significant upgrade from M0. Rail M1 is good if you wish to play XP/BP in the long run.

 

Rico M1 - unlocks early, but it's like Hammer. Slightly underpowered and nothing impressive overall.

 

Freeze M1 - It actually isn't that bad. I used the Cupid kit (Freeze/Viking M1) on my alt for a bit before I got Siberian. Cupid kit is surprisingly OP for low ranked Poly DM battles.

I would like to try all of them, as they seem to be though of differently by different people. I've got Rico, and it is really OP at WO1. Above that, it's okay, nothing more. Although Titan M1/Rico M1 against Fighter kit is actually quite a close battle, thanks to Titan.

1) Osaka then save for Minotaur, Firewall, etc

 

2) Fighter, then Boar/Tornado

 

 

Buy the fighter kit,and then get viking.Its a solid combo,and should last u till 2nd lieutenant,maybe higher

I would recommend Viking if you play on small or medium sized maps and Hornet if you play on big maps to giant maps

i mostly play on Polygon CPs, Rio and Monte Carlo, as well as the ocasional Silence and Island. Which is best? I realllly want hornet and thunder m3 cause I know hornet is compatible with freeze, but I tried it with viking m1 and I can't do so well. So this time around Hornet m3 Thunder m3 and if I have spare money, cedar?

If you really want hornet instead of viking then you should buy hornet. Really, does't matter what other people use, it matters what you want to use, what will help you the most, and what you will have the most fun with. Because really, who doesn't want to have fun in this game?

Hornet is fine, but I honestly think Viking will be best on all those maps except Monte Carlo.
