Both are good. Depends if you prefer more speed or more armour and base on that you can choose one of them. I personally prefer speed over armour.

As you use Rail, both are very good. However I'd suggest Hornet as it's more maneuverable, which is a key part of aiming with Rail.

very good for railers...im one of them,i use m2 smoky and hornet now,great for deathmatches,and smaller maps like sandbox or boombox CTF

It is a good combo, CTFs and for DMs you can use it with heavy hulls. And as you are a rail user you will be disappointed at first, as you will need way more than 2 shots to kill, but then you will start to like it and it ROCKS

Thank you btw totally forgot to mention the maps i like. I like large and medium 10 player battles on iran etc. And after how many shots does the critical hit stike like on avg or something?

Smokey is good in most of the maps, and criticals are completely random. You can get a first 3 shots as critical or no critical at all, but that doesnt make it inferior to other weapons
