There are no rules how you should play 1 vs 1, you can camp or do whatever you want. 

 

You think lag only causes problem for opponent? No, Lag cause problems for both you and your opponent. Don't you think spy only had advantage when stas was lagged?

I haven't seen the match but I imagine this is how it went:  both camped to get the drugs and then went full force attack. If one has the drugs then camping for the other won't be of much help.

I like that part, because you are implying that I said that, and that is not what I said at all. 

 

That was 3 years ago and rules can change. On top of that, forummods cannot judge on that as good as battle mods, they can quote the "No-3rd-party-software" and that's what they did.

 

I don't even know what to reply to that, it is so off-topic and those are theories that I really cannot be bothered with. This topic is created for the match and not to facilitate a discussion on 3rd party software. You should discuss the battle mod procedures with the battle mods admin. 

I kind of didn't meant to say that i'm saying that  blocking people on their discretion, so in different Occasions (no specific players like spy or anyone)  or You just can explain me that part.

Welp, I did watch the video and played it several time, I don't think there was use of any hacks. Also the Esports Checker did the same so.. I think Stas has a fair win.

And about True.Legend, did you really think you can change the date and time of your game because of any real life reason? If that was possible, all players could use that excuse and delay the match again and again, ruining the whole tournament.

Firstly about True.Legend - this is not what this topic is about. Plus, we all know that that match has a set time and if you really want to change it, you must ask your opponent and confirm it with the Ref. Only then if the Ref agrees it is allowed.

 

Secondly if perhaps there was hacks built into it, I'm sure the player is not stupid enough to use wall hack of course since that is obvious when the eSports Checker is on. However if it is built in and was using it. All that the player needs to do is to click a button to perhaps lag? Or idk. However that will not be stopped on the checker and there will be no proof. The only proof there is and could be, is for someone to take a video or a screenshot where possible to do so on the client.

 

... Of course once you sent the proof, that isn't over since.... The admin and the eSports Moderator team will want to know if it is truly possible and will check if your screen and method works. But for now as we all know, it doesn't seem very likely. Therefore the uncertainty of it is very, very low.

Classic, the crucial thing in my opinion, is if a hack can be built in to ClientPlus which cant be detected by eSports Checker, then ClientPlus should be banned from esports.  Perhaps some tests need to be run.

However since I use a mac I cannot test it my self to prove anything. So if someone can kindly prove it - it would be nice if possibly. Thats if only it is possible to do so on the ClientPlus.

 

I still think that to be safer, players should only be allowed to play on the Official Client or browser when in tournaments. Therefore strictly speaking we can know for certain the matches will be safer. Since the Official Tanki Client that I know of, does not have hacks integrated within it. That should be the only Client to be used ~ 

 

And for the browser I never heard that hacks work on it so. In other words, players should just stick to that.

 

Then issues come to this, with the browser:

- Lags

- Fps

 

Then its the case of having a pretty bad "ish" computer. Since, Tanki compared to many other FPS games is pretty basic and designed to be used on all computers at their highest hopes. However if you as a player want the most out of this game and to win tournaments and do better in them. Suitably, you would want a computer which can run Tanki fine with no problems to increase your own chances to play better! 

 

Last and not least, make sure your internet is working fine with no lags. Not only that it could affect you, but everyone else. If it is too affect everyone else, you will be ask to leave my your opponents. If your lags are bad enough it could lose your team the round, and maybe the game its self.

We're not blaming stas on using hacks my dear friend. It's just an objective view by our side.. it was a must to do. All we're trying to do is justify the use of that client which, clearly, does not adhere with any officially available client from TO. That's pretty much all there is to it.

 

The upcoming grand finals of Spy vs. Stas will be an interesting match to watch indeed. I suggest you grab on to the following and have a nice time watching the stream, as is due.

There's no shame in @Spy making it this far and there would be no shame in him losing against another good player. 

Giving up and not playing at all, now that would be a shame. Good players shouldn't be afraid of a fight even if they think they don't stand a chance. Even if he'd lose, he would still get a lot of respect for making it this far and giving his opponent a good fight for the first place.

I think withdrawing at this point would not only be an act of cowardice, it would also show little respect to the opponent.

On a final note, the fact that he lost before, doesn't mean he will lose again. He probably learned a lot from that match and I'm sure it has only improved his playing.

This is just to put it out here. For the last several months, you have not stopped complaining about other Tankers in all communities. And yet you still continue after been proven wrong over and over again, is laughable. As the EN community supports our Players to as far as they get. Even by just trying we will support. However, our friend Spy has gotten to the final from the losers bracket - which is not always easy to do. We has played more matches than the actual finalist and played a range of players too like Stas. Both of beaten the rest already. So as we can see now. This is the highest it can get now. Skill level, all! For those to critic this I suggest you try to participate and come 1st before you even mention about giving up. Even if you came 1st before. It would be a diaagrace to talk in such a manner like this. What proves that you are willing to show how silly and disrespectful is that you are talking back at all of us and to send your useless comments on the forum. Where everyone can see.

Now that you have not only shown the true self of yours but you've shown how childish you are. Trolling and annoying people here and there... Many people do that nor that is not allowed upon this forum, nor that I'm perfect or others. Yet your different. You just don't stop do you?

So let's conclude this on facts. On what I've seen on the forum, Skype and the game. It is constant and will never stop. Certainly does not look like a bright future for you. The only time I've seen you try to do, which could seem positive is that you changed your nickname to get out of this mess. However thag didn't go so well did it?

So this is an excellent opportunity to celebrate after AK got to Star Series, AK 2nd Place in MoS and IDK for winning TOF.

Even if he gets 2nd he will be remembered as a Legend to all of us. The commitment behind the scenes isn't easy work. Nor is for the Moderators for Tanki. So people like you are quite a mess and we hope that you will change into a decent Tanker.
