Tanki client made temporary hardware failure

I had 1000 score in battle so im not angry very much, i can just go and catch gold box to get 1000 crystals'

 

Well i was normally playing in battle, i started using client again because it got back its high fps. 15 fps at almost full graphics feels great compared to 15 fps in low graphics. So i was battling for about 30 minutes, and after 20 minutes...

Part 1) Fps was dropping slowly, and came to 5 after few minutes so i switched to low graphics, issue was solved

Part 2) Windows threatening me that process will be killed if it makes ram full

Part 3) Fan was faster, and faster and faster

Part 4) Windows was very unresponsive, seemed like tanki took control over 3/4 cpu

Part 5) Pc crashed, fan wasnt blowing, the bottom was extremely hot and i couldnt turn it on for 15 minutes.

Part 6) When i turned pc on finally then i couldnt go to tanki for 10 minutes

 

I think its better idea to stick to good old standalone flash player

Just change the graphics quality of the client

You PC overheated and went into a state called thermal throttling which reduces your PC's power (and therefore reduces FPS) in an effort to aid cooling, make sure all the fans are clean and free of dust and that none of the ventilation ports are blocked.

Then you're better off using Standalone Flash. :P Nonetheless make sure your PC isnt overheating as thats obviously not good for it's health.

They do to an extent, but thermal design has improved alot and unless you tape up the vents is pretty hard to overheat a well designed modern laptop. The issue is certainly more common with older devices.

regardless you can't blame the client for your computer overheating/crashing that's a problem at your end

Check processes in task manager. While playing in client, my anti virus eats up all of my laptop memory. Solution is to kill the process/tree or disable it while playing and enjoy your 15 fps :-)

 

*Even I play on 12-15 fps, feels like playing 10 high end games simultaneously on a 512mb ram PC :-(

But the fact is....

I caught 2 gold boxes today on my lower rank acc 13 fps, one by ramp jump and another by parkour via billboard on Brest map :P later one was a miracle btw

Well, it happens only when using client, whenever i open client now windows is threatening me that it will kill process.

Im constantly killing all non system processes except tanki and chrome so ram keeps under 100 megabytes. 

I will never again use antivirus because last time it somehow deleted c drive.

Well i found "solution", i will go away from client and use my good old friend, standalone flash.

Yep, better use  that since you are familiar with it already.  :)  Try to get some cooling gadgets under your Laptop as well if you can afford, good luck!
