Randomly losing control of tank

I logged in and tried to do a mission, but for some reason I keep losing control of my tank, like sometimes when I drive forward it'll keep going on its own even when I'm not holding down the key.

 

This problem only started happening after I installed a new update for Windows 10 Microsoft Edge yesterday.

In the past I did face similar situation and mine was mainly because of lag and after a few seconds it gets back to normal which I don't face it anymore as I got a better PC. Anyway, is that the only Browser you like using? What about other ones or even running TO as a second application? Client? Do you mind using them?

I prefer using Edge because it's the only browser that when in full screen I can move the mouse to the bottom and see how much battery % is left, though I don't mind using others.

Before I recommend you anything, would you mind trying the Client from the homepage? And see if it is ok to play on or not?

 

Also about the full screen, you can do it with any app or browser you want so that is not a big issue or deal. Here is how you will do:

• Right click the taskbar, make sure it is unlocked,
• Click on properties.
• Click on hide task bar.
• Your task bar will hide whenever it is not in use. However if you move your mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen, your taskbar will appear, even if you have a window in full screen.

If you had held that button before you started lagging and it does what you mentioned. Then I've been there so many times and I know a way to get myself out of it. I just press the key I held last before the lag, and it always seem to stop just fine after that. May take awhile sometimes, though

Happens to me and I press the same button and it stops. Happens due to screen freeze/lag which happens for like within one second or so.

Browsers will give more lag, You should try the TO client!

Well going full screen also prevents some of the minor or small lags as well.

true, also happens with laptop keyboard too, a nightmare (Ghosting + this issue)

I don't know how the update actually affected/affects it but if it is working than I guess all is good. Glad to hear and I assume the purpose of this topic is done now.

When I carry enemy flag, it gets dropped on its own after some time.

Yea, mostly it is because of lag but there are few rare cases as well which the server lags for everyone in few seconds instead of the player lagging in which case everyone who had a flag or the one who was about to shoot misses and so on than it gets back to normal.

Plus I couldn't turn my turret or shoot today for some time. Then I self destructed and changed equipment, and then it became fine.

 

Till January this year, I never encountered any bugs / errors while playing.

Now suddenly there are too many.

In addition to what is being said in here - some of these issues that are in the game are intentional. Developers have made changes to the game to eradicate all possible bugs and glitches the game has. Cedric created a topic for reporting every unusual and ambiguous issues with the game in this topic. The more you report, the more bugs will be removed.
