Tanki Online Quest - N°12 - Searching Group

Hey there!

Once again, we are tasked with our traditional quest, "THE GAME". As said in the V-LOG, this year's quest will be quite hard so I'm taking up the challenge to help and assist players. If you find something, post it here. Teamwork is the key. ;)

Here, we can merge our efforts and share our ideas in order to find the answers as fast as possible. Feel free to help out!

 Day 1 (05/06/2017) 

Solution:

1. In today's video, Kasim mentioned about Spider-man's information about his suit. The link is in the description.
2. Next, we scroll down to find some clues and there we find a couple of clues: Ricochet's Suit, Hornet's suit, Prodigy's suit - which are common words connected to the game.
3. This leads us to find the next clues. Go to your garage and let's check the description of each (Ricochet, Hornet and Prodigy). Hornet failed us as there are no clues there but you'll find two clues on Ricochet and Prodigy's description. 

 

There are hidden hyperlinks in the comma's. Click it and it leads these websites respectively:

4. So, this is where it gets complicated. A puzzle and a picture of a hat - what does that mean? Let's make this simple and start with the photo. This photo clearly describes the show "Gravity Falls" - the exact same cap the main character wears. Picture here.
5. This obviously leads us to the map "Gravity". But, since the the background of the photo has snow, let's try winter mode. Roam around the map and...



Scan the code and we get this random code: 2reFIZ3. If you're wondering what bit.ly is, it's a url shortener. Type in http://bit.ly/2reFIZ3 - combining the website with the random code. It leads us here:  http://game.tankionline.com/yywkl/ But, this needs a password, so, let's go back to the puzzle. 

6. Going back to the puzzle, once you finish it (which takes some time tbh...), you get this:



Now, what does this mean?! Well, let's try and convert this to numbers; we get this - 4237324. Now that's a convincing password!
7. Enter the password in the website and we'll get a photo with animals in it. 



Obviously, from the looks of it, these are modules. You can go the garage or the wiki to figure out the missing module from the list of Single Modules.

 Day 2 (06/06/2017) 

Solution:

1. In today's video, Kasim mentioned about the famous movie guy from New Zealand. We search it up and we'll find this guy named Peter Jackson.



He makes movies, he's from New Zealand, he's a cool guy indeed. Next up, let's go the Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Jackson

2. If you check the list of his films, you'll see the first one is called "The Valley". Somewhat connected to Tanki so let's try the map Valley (summer mode).

3. As soon as you join, drive up and you'll notice a weird "sun" which symbolizes something. This leads us to a previous discount for MUs. Link is here: http://tankionline.com/en/2017/04/prices-and-time-for-m3-upgrades-slashed-by-50/

4. Obviously, we need to find another clue. Now, if you scroll down, you'll find a hyperlink:

5. Click the hyperlink and it will lead us to another link: http://game.tankionline.com/sunnyday/



6. Type it in the chat box and you'll receive a long message full of symbols. Notice that one symbol is different from the other, hover your mouse pointer over it and you'll receive a link: http://game.tankionline.com/gimmethepassword/



7. The website needs some sort of password, so, let's go back to what Kasim mentioned in the video. He said something about a MASSIVE guy with a ginger beard. After thinking about it, he's talking about Bombur. A charater portrayed by Stephen Hunter.



8. Yet again, we need clues here. Notice that "Hunter" is connected to the game, so, let's check it out. Go the Tanki wiki and go directly to Hunter. Of course, the devs made it "really obvious" so they just put the clue up there.



9. It leads us in this website: http://game.tankionline.com/kklabn/



10. The photo is oddly familiar. It is the April Fool's Celebration. So, let's clear thing up to avoid any misleads. Since the photo is in Russian, let's check the Russian page first and find the post of the April Fool's Celebration: http://tankionline.com/ru/2017/03/prazdnovanie-1-aprelya-v-to/ - Notice that there's this weird trophy which isn't part of the original photo.



Zoom in and you'll see some kind of nickname in the trophy. To make things short, we have to go to the ratings page and enter this nickname: 8_B-DAY



11. Let's go to the ratings page. Here is his ratings page: http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/8_B-DAY/ - I wonder how he reached Legend with Smoky M0...well...let's stalk that guy some more. As soon as you reach his paints, scroll through it until you notice THE GAME logo along with a word; "gotankigo". Nice one, Tanki.



11. The password is gotankigo which needs to be entered in the website we had before.

12: As soon as you enter it, it shows this:



This probably is Tanki's favorite album. Notice that THE GAME logo is covering up...something. So, let's search Google for the image and you'll end up with this.

 

KEYWORD FOR DAY 2: SPACE

 Day 3 (07/06/2017) 

 

Solution:

1. In today's video, Kasim mentions about Fort Benning. A familair word so let's try and search the Fort Knox map. You might need a helping hand with this as parkour is involved. Search both ends of the bases in Fort Knox and search for a hidden platform below the map; which is at the side. Once you get there, you'll see this:



But apparently, I failed...but it says this "helpmeplease":



2. Search that up the the help site and you'll notice the word "Tanki Online" - the letter "O" changes its color to green. Click it afterwards.



3. It will direct you to a Google doc. You have to answer a series of 1v1 questions (which is pretty annoying, tbh...) and once you get all right, you'll receive a link and a video showing the answers (nice one, devs, you made me boil with anger).

4. The site needs a password so, let's go back with finding clues. If you searched the map thoroughly, you'll find a Morse code just on the top of a house:



As soon as you decode it, you'll get - Garder. Go to the map obviously and you'll see this logo:



5. Toyota logo - the internet can help us. Go to its Wikipedia page or you can start searching for Toyota models to get clues. Once you find it, you'll see that there is a Toyota model named "Toyota tundra". It could be a password, so, let's find out.



6. Type in the password at the site we got and...it works!



7. As always, right click on it and choose search Google for image. You'll end up with this. And since Madness is a song from this particular album - it's the keyword! ^_^

 Day 4 (08/06/2017) 

 

Solution:

 

1. In the video, Kasim mentioned about stuff and as he mentions "SILENCE", that gives out the first clue.

2. Go to the map Silence and find some clues. Didn't find anything? Try changing the mode to Space and you'll find this secret room along Red base at the very end:



Go down there (carefully) and you'll notice something written at the wall. It shows a forum logo along with a number "1611".



3. Let's try typing that in the EN forum. Doesn't work? Go to the Russian forum and type that in: http://ru.tankiforum.com/topic/1611 - but...I don't speak Russian! Let's change "ru" to "en" in the link. And this leads us to a topic 6 months ago:

4. Scroll down and check every post. Once you reach @RIDDLER_8's post, click on the spoiler and you'll get this:



Save that for later since we don't have any clues left.

5. Go back to the V-LOG and you'll see this weird transition from 0:13 to 0:14 (obviously there's a clue...), which is this:



11*11 is 121 + a V-LOG symbol. Go to V-LOG #121 and once you reach the end, you'll see this weird "Tanki ?" cinematic trailer:

Once decoded, it says - "THE BIGGEST MAP BY AREA". Which is Lost Temple.

9. Enter the password "Lost Temple" and you'll get a photo:



10. And again...search Google for image. It's Harley Quinn. The paint in our game is called "Harlequin".

Solution:

1. In the video, Kasim talks about paints and the paint separation update. Now, if you look closely, he mentions several paints which are Green, Urban, Blacksmith, Kaleidoscope, Amber, Hive and Aero. Now, if you noticed, I've highlighted the first letter of every word. If arranged correctly, it spells out GUBAKHA - which is a map in the game.

2. Go to the map Gubakha and drop down to the hole in the center. Now it leads to a tunnel which leads to this:



3. It says wiki + MUs + Wasp. Now, go to the Wiki page that leads to the Micro-upgrades of Wasp: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Micro-upgrades_Wasp - If you notice at the top, the logo of "Game" has changed to a "?". Click it:



4. This leads to a website that needs a password: http://game.tankionline.com/youareclosejohn/

5. Now, going back, remember the thing about paints separation update? Search it up and you'll get here: http://tankionline.com/en/2016/07/paint-separation-update/

6. Scroll down until you find this hidden hyperlink at the bottom:



7. Clicking it leads to this website:http://game.tankionline.com/whereisit/ - along with that, it tells us where is the tank? It is right under the bridge:



8. As soon as you click it, it leads you to this link: http://game.tankionline.com/laststeps/ - which shows a couple of colors. It is quite familiar...if you remember correctly, in each video of "THE GAME", some kind of illuminati thingamajig with letters/numbers along with its corresponding colors. Here are the list of the colors in each that appeared:



L - red
F - green
Y - yellow
7 - blue
V - white

So, if arranged correctly, the password is LVF7Y. Enter it and you'll get this photo:

Tips & Tricks

• The first clue is always in the video posted in the official GAME topic.
• When searching for a clue in a text, try highlighting it or hovering over it with your mouse to look for hyperlinks.
• When you're presented with an image you do not recognize, search the image in Google.
• Look for keywords that are related to Tanki.
• If you find a keyword that is the name of a map, look in that map for a clue.
• Clues in maps can be hidden anywhere, on buildings, under bridges, on the ground, in the sky, sometimes even in a secret room.
• The final clue has a game symbol on it with the number of the day.
