Declined Custom paints

i think you should create a paint like pearl on cars that cost a lot and if we buy it we can choose a picture from our library to use it as color

There are three main issues with this:

1. Having a paint like that will make all other paints completely useless, since it will be possible to buy this paint and give it any texture, be that Green, Zeus, Gold Star, Helper, Champion, etc.
   All unique and "special" paints would lose their value.
2. This would require a lot of extra moderation efforts since players would be able to upload textures that are offensive or inappropriate.
3. A way of selecting an image and uploading it onto your paint would need a whole new system for it, which would be a lot of development time and effort for a single garage item.

Because of these problems developers decided not to have this in the game.

Hmmmm, I wanna wait and see what happens with Hull skins first.

 

If Hazel delivers on his promise to transform XT items into Premium skins, then paints really won't matter much. By the time M3 plating and an XT 'skin' covers a hull, there just isn't much room for a paint to show through.
