So guys, I have a very noob laptop, giving me 9-16 frames per second when disabling every graphic and making the screen smaller. I talked with my parents about this and they agreed to buy me a new desktop but in one condition; it should be not more $300. So I looked up the web hoping to find a good, cheap and new gaming desktop build. But they all have GTX 1050 and Intel Core i5 which is overclocked and besides, I only have to play Tanki Online.. I don't do gaming expect that. So, can someone suggest me a good CPU, GPU and Ram under $300 (including motherboard, power supply etc) please :) keep the budget in your mind when suggesting :P Me poor xD

Thank you everyone!

Buy a laptop instead of a desktop. If u want a gaming laptop then u should buy Dell or Hp.Apple is also good. But when ur looking for cheap laptops then u should go for earlier versions like the laptops released in 2012 or 2013 the latest are expensive but the older ones aren't that much expensive  so Samsung should be a good choice I know its not a gaming laptop but its good enough for one game to be played. So Samsung laptop model of 2012 or 2013 core i5 & windows 8 would be my suggestion.

My laptop is a Dell inspiration 15, 3000 series. And even though it has Windows 8, it runs really good, although I don't know how much it costed since I got it almost two years ago.

So you can go look it up.

If I turn off fog and shadow under tank in the graphic setting and turn off mouse controls. I can get about an average of 60 FPS and 90 ping.

This is my laptop (well, chromebook): http://www.pcworld.com/article/2994501/chromebooks/hps-new-chromebooks-are-less-colorful-but-cheaper.html

It looks quite good, it's blue on the inside and white on the outside.

It costed about $400 or less, we got a discount because my old Acer Chromebook broke within its 2 year warranty, I think. I've had this one for about a year and already the camera is broken.  -_-

Decent Desktops will be very hard to find for under 300$. I suggest a laptop , I've got a Levovo and I get 30-50 FPS usually with Auto graphics off bland for a rank up pic can run full grapichs and get 10-25 fps . I don't remember the exact one but I do remember that it was a bit more than 300

If you want performance for a cheap price you need to get a desktop, there no other way around it.

Second hand gaming desktops that costed like $750 in 2013 will sometimes go for $300 or even less.

Laptops offer portability, but they're no where near the price/performance ratio of a desktop. There's less airflow in laptops which will give thermo throttling when you're doing CPU demanding tasks. And that heat will put additional wear on the compononens; Desktops are more reliable.

I think you'll be in the 8GB ram, GTX750Ti, 300W PS- range. That should still be more than enough power to run Tanki at the highest settings and play some decent games in 1080P.  One thing I would do is to swap out the Hard drive for a Solid state. SSD's are cheaper than ever.
