Naaaah, if you announce that you're leaving then you should leave for good. I despise players who create a ton of drama by posting a leaving topic and farm up a ton of likes and sad goodbye posts only to come back a week/month later.

As for the topic, there's a few people who actually left for good and whom I miss quite a lot, but apart from all my good colleagues that used to be helpers here (DS, Issho, etc.), I want to mention one player that left who was never any kind of big personality on the forum but nevertheless was one of my first friends on the forum long before I was forum mod: @jazz20

AFAIK, he's in China now and can't access Tanki, or perhaps he just left the game for good. Either way, I miss him.

Christmas 2016 was when Mexicancandy101 was still playing...that was when mexicanchoc made his account, hoping to one day reach Mexicancandy101's rank and beat him in a 1v1. But now he's Legend, and my friend left long ago.

Loooooooool, but lag is worse and the community is less. +, there are more ranks, so it takes longer to get to the higher ranks.

I haven't faced any lag problem yet + Community is less but I always see variety of battles available + No need to get high ranks, battles depend on Mastery.
