You need to be Warrant Officer 1 or higher to receive gold boxes. You need 800 kills for Premium.

Crystal boxes will never be back as repeatedly stated by developers, they encourage multing and team sabotage.

Gold boxes are completely random, they have a 1 in 10,000 chance of dropping for every increase in battle fund.
