Pixelated Graphics, Options missing from menu,

Recommended Posts

I had a topic about this but, it was closed because I thought I had fixed the problem.

So the graphics are pixelated (mip-mapping is on) and the FPS is 2/3 so the game is literally unplayable.

I tried everything: flash updates automatically on chromebooks, I enabled hardware acceleration, since this is a Chomebook it cant download anything meant for PC, I reset cache and browsing history....

I had fixed it for awhile and was so happy, but today it started becoming unfixable. The way I got it to work was

deleting my cookies like 5 times + reloading the page. Now though? I reloaded plus cookies 7+ times and no results!

 any more ideas?

sorry for bad explination, thanks for all the help.

Did the game ever work properly before on that computer? Chrome books are usually designed for students/light office use rather than gaming. What are the specs?

Besides what ninja said above, I'd like to give ya a small tip :p a friend of mine owns a chrome book, his FPS was very bad, something like 10 FPS constantly :( then decided to dig a bit deeper and found out his battery setting was 'ultra power saving mode' put it on the highest recommended and suddenly it was 45 FPS :D it's something quite small, but I recommend you put it at the highest possible.

I'd love to see the specs too however. I'm sure if we find out it's a problem we can fix it :D

Thanks for all the help and being friendly :D My chromebook is made by samsung and I scoured the settings for the battery thing to no avail.

I think the FPS and pixelated thing go hand and hand because when I fixed it for that while the fps was 10-37 maybe but, now its litterally 2-3

thanks again! :D

When I checked to make sure that hardware acceleration was working I found this:

For hardware-accelerated scaling to work, you need Microsoft DirectX 9 with VRAM 128MB for Windows and OpenGL for Apple Macintosh, Mac OS X v10.2 or higher. There might be compatibility issues with older hardware and drivers. (See Flash Player system requirements.) With older versions of Flash Player, you should not see dramatic changes as the player reverts from hardware-accelerated scaling back to software scaling.

Do you think that this means It wont work on chromebook?

also I wouldnt think that this would be the case because it worked fine a few months ago...

Well tonight I logged in and reset cookies, reloaded 3 times and the problem went away!

only catch is when the server updates or my wifi cuts out it will be back and I will have to go through the

motions again. I would still like to fix thi once and for all.  -_-
