I have a lot of questions regarding the rico contest... someone pls help me

 

1. Who will decide the timings of play? I can't be online 24/7 and I have work on weekdays so will it be a problem for me?

2. Why are supplies on when MU's are off? Even supplies should be off in order to determine the winner purely based on skill and not cash.

3. How will I communicate with Russian players and organizers?

4. How many minimum rounds do I have to play to get to the Finals(If I'm able to get there)?

5. The official topic is in the RU forum, where is the English forum topic?

6. If I have any other questions who should I contact?

7. 6.3. It is forbidden to be in non-playable areas while holding the flag (e.g. the edge of the map, holes, etc.). What does this mean?

8. Need more clarity on this (what brackets are you talking about?):

— for each won match in the winner (upper) bracket, the Winner receives 50 000 crystals.

— for each won match in the loser (lower) bracket, the Winner receives 25 000 crystals.

 there is two sections to read all the rules and what is needed . others told me if you log into the Russian forum using your regular account you can get to post your questions there ( and yea it works Been on it a few times today with it ) . good luck if you do go into it along with other players..

Participants of the Tournament.

 

• 1.1. Only those players, who have gone through registration process according to the Current Rules, are eligible to participate in the Tournament.
• 1.2. Only those players, whose nicknames have been listed in the topic on forum "Список участников | Participants list”, may participate in the matches.
• 1.3. The rank of the Participants must be within the range from Brigadier to Legend.
• 1.4. Every Participant must confirm their participation in the Tournament in the respective topic on forum "Заявки на участие в TOF Solo Ricochet"
• 1.5. Each Participant is only allowed one account to participate in the Tournament.
• 1.6. Each Participant must have PRO battle pass throughout the Tournament.
• 1.7. Each Participant must have a Skype ID to communicate with the eSports Officials and the Opponents.
• 1.8. Russian language is the official language of the Tournament.
• 1.9. Players, banned from participating in eSports, are prohibited to apply for and take part in the Tournament.

1. Timing should usually not be a problem. Almost always the organizers will give you a date and a time (17:00 utc) but you can change the time by mutual agreement, so with your opponent.

 

2. Supplies is also a form of Skills, it adds an extra element to the game. I personally don't use cash and still have 1000s of supplies, saved from daily bonusses. If you don't have supplies your chances are narrowing yeah..

 

3. Russians usually speak English. Some don't, but organizers have the ability to translate then. I know it says that Russian is the official language but past experiences have shown that English is accepted as well. If they refuse to speak English and the organizers are not helping either, you can contact the English eSports team for help.

 

4. That really depends on the amount of participants. Expect 8 matches before you are in the finals.

 

5. The tournament is created by the Russian eSports team. Therefore it's in the Russian forum. Having a tournament in 2 forums is a real pain. So instead of having registrations here as well, I decided to inform the English people of everything in this topic: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=361288

7. There are places on a map where you can only get through for example parkour. For example on a tall building. If you take the flag and you sit there where nobody can reach you because they don't have the needed parkour skills, it'll be an unfair match. That's why the rule is there.

 

8. According to the rules

 

 

• 2.1. The Tournament consists of two stages:

— Stage 1 - prior to 1/16 - runs as Single Elimination (SE). A loser of each match is immediately eliminated from the Tournament;

— Stage 2 - 1/16 and after - runs as Double Elimination (DE). Two defeats result in elimination.

 

A double elimination system is a system in which a player that loses a match gets a second chance in the so-called "loser bracket". So, each match you win in the winner bracket gets you 50K, a win in the loser bracket gets you 25K. 

 

As you can see, double elimination starts in the 1/16 and further, so before that you won't get any prize. I think the tournament starts at 1/512, then 1/256, 1/128, 1/64, 1/32. After that, 1/16 will come with Double Elimination and then 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and the finals.

first you need to log into the Russian forum ( so you need to remember your password ) .

Hope this helps players , also there is a deadline to enter into the registration section . then selected players will be chosen

 

 

 

 

 

after you log into Russian forum go to the words circled in blue which is there NEWS section

 

 

after you go into the News section you need to go to there video log , which is in purple blue

 

 

once in scroll down under the video to see the links to the tournament
