The real hypercube really looks better than what the paint looks like. But then, when a paint is equipped on a tank, it adjusts itself to the different planes of the tank. Would it still look like a hypercube when it's equipped on a tank? Or would I just be seeing parts of it on the plane of armour facing me? Then we would have to make smaller cubes that fit into those small spaces...

Can you equip it using TankiViewer or some application to show us how it looks?

I've never seen this paint in battle and the sample shown in the wiki doesn't animate, so I'm having a difficult time processing what you are suggesting. I agree with @P.4.R.K.O.U.R, I'd have to see it, too.

basically this is what it'd look like, except you replace the liver with moving tesseract(s) like the one in that gif. everything around the tesseracts will seem as though it's just transparent empty space. this way, the fact that it looks like it is within something already perceived as 3 dimensional helps the brain to assume the 3rd dimension in on something 2 dimensional automatically.

as for making a 4 space in a 2 space, I know that is impossible. but that wasn't what i was talking about. 

 

what I was talking about was to make something to trick/help the brain in seeing 4 dimensions. just like how we can already trick the brain into seeing 3 dimensions in 2 dimensions. that gif did it. and for the paint it'd be easier because it'd be in something already perceived as 3 space. 

I don't quite get that, but anyhow if it is possible to do then come up with a design and submit it. Tanki might just change it! I doubt they'll work on a single paint when they have other things to do (updates, lag, bugs and more).

For reference, I meant a paint with the tank on it. What it comes down to, is why should Tanki invest the extra time and energy and resources to rework a paint when most of their playerbase is far more interested in the game itself? I am aware that there are players who (such as me and you) would like to see this implemented, but would you be willing to pay 99.99 USD for it? (which I think is the normal price for such bundles)

The only reason Tanki makes effects-is to keep up with the other games that it should still look colorful.

That sounds better. But would be really hard for the developers since it isn't about just making a 2D GIF and applying it on the tank. Would require some complex coding. But would be worth the money. Hologram paints can be sold at a higher price than animated paints.

Animated Paint Ideas

 

Graffiti as an animated paint could have graffiti being drawn everywhere on the tank.

 

Night could have bats flying around the tank.

 

Space could have blinking stars everywhere or just the paint slowly moving around like it's slowly moving around in space and maybe have a shooting star shoot across it.

 

Spark paint could have it moving around a bit. Just keep it as it is but move it a bit.

 

Inferno could have flames stretching across the tank and flowing like they're in the wind if you know what I mean and embers could be crackling out of it. Or maybe some sort of moving flame/lava paint like the Lava paint.

 

Alien could have the "scratches" or whatever you want to call them appearing and disappearing in random places on the tank.

 

Kaleidoscope would be interesting. Have it moving in and out like a real kaleidoscope if you know what I mean.

 

Chainmail could have the chains waving about kind of like the Barbed Wire animated paint.

 

Glitch could have the glitch moving alone the tank.

A global Pop Culture, because it's a global game, would include things like Pikachu (still popular, I just watched a Pikachu painted plane... on a video), Messi, Cristiano, the memes phenomena, the selfies phenomena, maybe Fake News (or maybe not, don't feed the troll), maybe PewDiePie (not that I like him).

 

We need a Selfie Drone... for noob buyers.
