Guys. It's a browser game. We don't have client. It's not correct to compare tanki with COD. This are absolutely different games. All other popular browser games has much bigger prices. In some of them you have to pay about 2000 dollars if you want to be one of the best! So don't be so rude. Prices are absolutely normal.

3) I know how people live in the USA. I was there twice - 8 months in general. I was able to live easily for 1100 dollars per month! A came home with 2800 dollars cash. My sallary in US was 1716 dollars.

2) Koolwalky -thanks for showing the vid of Tanki 2.0, looks great! It is very cool to get lighting added. The textures look more detailed as well.

 

3) Unfortunately, Tanki / Tanki 2.0 is still a Flash based game that will always be less sophisticated than, and look worse than dedicated DX10 based games, and yet cost more money.

 

4) Just because I tell the truth doesn't mean I have anything against Tanki, or that I think it looks bad or whatever, so stop making sh*t up, I simply pointed out it costs more than games like CoD and Crysis, and Stalker. Prove to me and the world that it doesnt. It is too bad some people can't handle the truth so you just get defensive and act like children. :roll:

 

5) Fanboys don't help products gain fans. Truth and rational discussions about differing opinions spawn interest and fans. People like me and many others have a lot of fun earning our way, but at a certain point there is almost no way to gain enough to upgrade anymore without buying or cheating, and it just costs too much at that point. If you have nothing more to contribute to this topic about Tanki costing too much, by all means stay quiet. CoD MW2 and others cost less and look better, and it is a shame Tanki doesn't find a way to lower the price to stay competitive. Unless they do, most people will simply play for free, earn and be happy, and Tanki will foot the bill for domain hosting, traffic, etc etc. That is a shame, I'd like Tanki to succeed and be as successful as franchises like CoD etc. :thumbup:

 

In my opinion, NO ONE should be able to buy crystals at ANY cost. Then, it would be fair for everyone, instead of giving an advantage to the rich and those that cheat. Tanki should make its money in other ways, like in-game advertising.

In The US wealth is not distributed evenly, most of the wealth is owned by a tiny fraction of people. 80% of Americans have to split just 7% of the Total Wealth. The lesson? That most Americans are not rich, and that a small group of Americans are VERY VERY rich.

 

 

In the US, Wealth can be broken down to this:

28.01% of Americans make $25k-$50k

It would be better for Tanki to figure out how much money we are willing to pay and then Tanki would have us paying. Game was made for active playing during 1-2 years (before you become a marshal). It's not very difficult to pay few hundred dollars within 1-2 years. In some other online games you have to pay about 3-4 thousand dollars to buy everything that exists in the game. Wow, lineage for example - extremely expensive games.

In defense of panzer, although I think it's reasonable to pay $100 in a couple years, it is ridiculous to have to pay it all at once, which means that in order to get all the upgrades (i.e. Paints, Armors, Weapons, etc.) one would end up paying probably more than a little over a "few hundred dollars." throughout their entire career.

Come to think of it, I think I have a solution. :mrgreen: I think that actually, tanki should keep their crystal prices how they are, but instead make it easier to earn crystals on your own, by increasing daily bonuses, crystal droppoffs, etc. This way, players who don't have a spare five hundred bucks lying around can still reach maximum upgrade levels by earning. Though this way may take considerably longer, it won't take ten years of earning to get 10k crystals.

100 dollars is way to much for m3 thunder, ricochet, or freeze. the weapon becomes like smoky, twins, or freeze against high rank people, and will be out dated when new weps come out. the tier 2 m3 guns are overpriced. the 3.0 version of twins will just be ridiculous and cost in the 1000's at the rate they raise prices for each new tier
