After nearly a year since the last Edition of Tanki Thinking Challenge closed, it has come back and is better than ever! We have a completely reformed team of Riddlers awaiting to test your knowledge, so grab your thinking caps and prepare your keyboards for a brand new Edition of Tanki Thinking Challenge! 

 

These puzzles will test your resourcefulness and capabilities of navigating through all the Game's facilities, including the Wiki and all its nooks and crannies, the Forum and all its sections/sub-sections, the Help Site and many others, so make sure to familiarise yourself as much as possible with all the available information sources. The first Quiz will go live on September the 25th, at 8:00 AM UTC+0 and will close 18 hours later on the 26th of September at 2:00 AM UTC+0. The link will be posted on the official Tanki Online Facebook Page. If you don't manage to win this week, don't fret because we will be hosting these quizzes EVERY WEEK at the same time! 

 

Lots of crystals await you - our loyal player base! We have made the prize distribution as fair as we possibly could; so that the quick-witted tankers will be able to receive the biggest prizes but people who suffer from timezones will not be affected too badly as they have the chance of receiving a substantial amount of crystals, too. The prizes will be as follows:

 

For easy challenges:

• Top 10 - 10 fastest people to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 7,000 crystals.
• Random 50 - 50 random people selected from all the people who managed to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 3,000 crystals.
• One lucky user - 1 lucky user is randomly selected from the pool of users who submitted all the correct answers. Reward: 2 Gold Boxes.

For medium-difficulty challenges:

• Top 10 - 10 fastest people to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 10,000 crystals.
• Random 40 - 40 random people selected from all the people who managed to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 7,500 crystals.
• One lucky user - 1 lucky user is randomly selected from the pool of users who submitted all the correct answers. Reward: 5 Gold Boxes.

For difficult quizzes:

• Top 20 - 20 fastest people to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 12,500 crystals.
• Random 50 - 50 random people selected from all the people who managed to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 10,000 crystals.
• One lucky user - 1 lucky user is randomly selected from the pool of users who submitted all the correct answers. Reward: 7 Gold Boxes.

For extremely difficult "specially themed" quizzes:

• Top 35 - 35 fastest people to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 20,000 crystals.
• Random 50 - 50 random people selected from all the people who managed to submit all the correct answers. Reward: 15,000 crystals.
• One lucky user - 1 lucky user is randomly selected from the pool of users who submitted all the correct answers. Reward: 10 Gold Boxes

Note that these rewards may need to be amended throughout the course of the contest depending on the number of participants, the number of correct entries, player feedback and Game Currency balance etc.

Are you kidding me? 2AM UTC is 7:30 AM in India. Why do you have such an odd timing? You keep all your other events in between 15 to 18 UTC, why can't you keep that? It's evening over there and most players would be home.

No, on the Facebook Page there will be a link to a special form where you can fill out the answers to the questions ;) To participate, you only need to own a Google Account. This can be in the form of a Gmail account. 

 

Why do the challenge at such a unappropriate time? I mean monday at 8 a.m.?? People go to school and to work at 8 a.m. So they are in a serious  disadvantage.Pls change it to like sunday or saturday,or atleast make it start a 3p.m. or later.Im begging u

Well you have a full 18 hours to complete it and to add on you still have a chance of being one of the 50 random winners to win (if you answer the questions correctly) and also have a chance of being that 1 lucky winner to win a few gold boxes ;)

 

will it work the same way as it always does with [the game]? everytime the first person who get's the answer sells it to a youtuber so even if you're the second person to get the answer you wouldnt qualify in the top.

As, said it doesn't work that way, prizes don't ONLY go to the fastest people that answer all the questions correctly, it goes to the Top 10 who answers all the questions correctly AND also goes to 50 random people who answered all the questions correctly, also, these answers are submitted via a special google form, and there are multiple questions and multiple answers, it's not just 1 question, so I don't think it'll work the same way, however it is possible. :)

Q: I don't have a Facebook account! What can I do? How can I participate?

The time window for submitting answers is 18 hours - which should be more than enough time to cater to most timezones.

 

Q: How do I win a prize?
A: To win a prize, you must qualify as either, one of the "Top x Participants," meaning that you were among the fastest people who managed to submit all the correct answers (or the maximum amount of correct answers) or as one the "Random x Participants," meaning that you were one of the users who managed to submit all the correct answers (or the maximum amount of correct answers). 1) You may have misspelt an answer or your username;

By choosing participants randomly, most timezones are accommodated but you may not be rewarded for rushing if you do not qualify for the "Top x Participants";

Q: How difficult will the challenges be?
A: The difficulty of the Quizzes usually differ, so that we can satisfy most players with varying knowledge of the game. The difficulty of the Challenge will be mentioned at the beginning of the Google Form.

 

Q: When and where will the winners be announced? Also, if I am selected as a winner, when can I expect my prize?
A: The list of winners will be published sometime between Saturday and Sunday in the above post. Prizes will be sent out within a couple of days from the Winners being announced.

Do you honestly believe that the complainers missed the random 50 part in the announcement? No, they (we) want a time which is appropriate for more people. I don't what kind of survey the organisers did, but 8 UTC is a worse choice than other times. A lot more tankers are online during 14.00 - 18.00 UTC on the forum. The highest number of players present in-game (according to the counter in the homepage) is also around this time. The peak of the number of members online in the forum typically is when the v-log is about to come out, and when THE GAME first clue videos are announced. Nowhere is 8 UTC optimal.

how do i submit

Once the post is up on the Facebook Page with the information and the link to the special google form, you will be able to click on the form and fill it out with your answers to the questions, once you go through the whole form and fill all the answers out for the questions it'll give you an option to submit, all the directions will be posted, and once filling out the form it's pretty self-explanatory from there.
