There's no need to change your nickname later on, but to rather make it go out there.

In other words, use your unique nickname, let other players know about you and your existence, your skills, your intimidation to others, your favorite and most used equipment combination, your legacy, etc.

If you suddenly change your nickname after you won all those battles, and defeated all those players, the players who knew you will get confused and sad you changed your nickname.

Unless it's a similar and simple nickname you change to, you shouldn't change.

 

"Look out, thunderhunter123 is in this battle! He is hard to defeat! Let's team up and take him down!" or "hi again, thunder dude!" 

It feels good to see someone say that in the chat, or say hi to us, from time to time.

You can do "Your-Mom" or "Death-Is-Near", or something like that.

If you don't like "English Dictionary nicknames" I found some "Latin Dictionary nicknames"...

Apricus: Full of sunshine.

Cruentus: Bloody

Egregius: Extraordinay, eminent.

Ferus: Wild

Rectus: That is right, good, virtuous; uprightness, rectitude, virtue; straight.

Unicus: One and only, unique.

These are words in their masculine forms.

For the femenine forms replace _us with _a, for example the femenine of unicus is unica.

For the neuter forms replace _us with _um, for example the neuter of rectus is rectu... no, don't use that word.

Hopefully not too immature or already proposed by someone before,if that's the case apologies in advance. Anyway, I'm kind of tired of seeing a lot of road to legend(RTL) accs (and the game can be rage-inducing), so I thought to give another possible meaning for this abbreviation.

There's quite an obsession with words as nicknames recently, I think personally i prefer nicknames with numbers and letters that has a unique meaning to yourself. of course, words also have meaning, but you are a truly famous tanker if other players actually take the effort to remember your nickname which is a jumble of letters and numbers rather than an actual word.

I agree. In a way one word nicks are boring, unless it's a word that is in a way relatable to your personality in the game, or to your tank.

For example Approved, what would be the meaning or the relatable thing there? Approved nickname maybe?

Now Twisted (taken), if you have a weird and crazy personality it would go great, but if you're one of the mill tanker, kind of boring, maybe not so good.

Another thing is that with one words there's little room for creativity, these nicks just say: I managed to grab a one word nick and I can pay for the nick change.

I have nicks with one word too, so in a way I understand.

Maybe like the proposed nick Rage.To.Legend we can fight back with nicks like One.Word.Nickname.

I want to change my nickname but as I don’t use discord, I’m afraid no one will know who I am and won’t get invited to groups. 
Unless I just play and hope to bump to people in game then let them know. 
I know tanki has so many other things to improve on, but would be a nice luxury if after changing your name, for 30 days after if a player on your friends list hovers over your name it will say the previous Nick.
