I used the search feature to see if this topic had been previously brought up.  I couldn't find any threads.

 

Okay, I would like for dropped mines to be returned to inventory during those battles that time out due to auto-balance game termination.  I am finding that I am losing between three to ten mines a battle when players bail or players join.  This isn't a fair feature and is needlessly costing players.

Gee, MAF, you are a freaking ID10-tango.  All you saw was another tanker complaining about losing mines.  Rather than to read into the whole issue.  I have no problem about losing mines in the course of a normal tank battle one that makes it from start to end base upon timer ending, or maximum objectives achieved 100 deaths, 10 flags, etc.  Instead you chose to lock down the thread and give your quick quip. 

 

NOW let me point out my main gripe.  A player should not be penalized for mine usage when the game terminates because the other side lacks players with the cojones to see a battle from start to finish. 

 

Furthermore, MAF you are contemptible.

A mine is a supply and activating it uses it up, just like other supplies. You don't complain when you use DA and don't get shot, or you use DD and don't end up seeing any enemies, right? So why should mines be different?

 

This particular idea was suggested before and developers said it will not happen.
