I thought it would be cool if developers would create some kind of site where you could see a list of all in-game paints and find out how many players actually own the paints. So if you, for example, found a rare paint inside a container, you'd be able to find out how exclusive that paint actually is.

 

Nothing useful about this, just rather interesting  :)

Yep, sounds interesting. I think that an absolute number makes way more sense in this regard than showing a percentage like the original idea suggested. I bet that a lot of paints will have a 0.0% share when you compare it with the total amount of accounts in the game. Having all active accounts would be better, but probably still won't change much. A problem I see is that the showing of numbers along with the cheaper and the more expensive paints makes it obvious that a lot of people leave the game in the early ranks, which in a way I consider as normal for games and for the internet itself...

Touched on here... It's definitely probably not enough to mark complete, but we are moving closer. Gear score is still a little foreign to me though... don't see how it is better than the system they had before.

After 5 years (in 2023)...

 

I killed an enemy in MM and ranked up to Marshal.

 

'Yay, I am finally a Marshal! Time to go to garage to buy some M3 stuff!'

 

I bought some M3 stuff and then looked at my paints.

 

'Lime, Invader, Lead, Magma, nothing for me. Sakura? No, I use it too much. Wait, what is this? Blue? Wow, it is so beautiful...'

 

All players looked at me and they did not realise that I have M3 hull and turret. They saw my paint. Wow, he has Blue paint, it is so rare, I have not seen it for a long time, how did he get such a rare paint?
