Just where does it say only DM battles will be available on the Holiday Map?  I cannot find anything stating that in the OP.

 

I have a hard time believing this to be true. 

 

If it is I will not be playing on the holiday map I guess. DM is kill the guy you just spawned behind before the guy spawning behind you kills you first. 

 

(IMO the DM format should have about 75% of the tanks as the same map holds for team matches.  So if the map is an 8 vs 8 team vs team map it would be a 12-tank DM map. Bit that ain't gonna happen so I just avoid the format.)

Have a look at the 5th page of this topic, Nives said only DM battles on Halloween map.

Holiday Map and Missions

 

From 02:00 UTC on October 28th and until 02:00 UTC on November 6th play on the special holiday map, that looks like a chilling graveyard at night.

 

We’ll also add a special button in the Lobby, that will enter you into battles only on the Halloween map.

 

Will we be able to player TDM, CP, or CTF battles on the Halloween map?

In 2015 this map was only available in DM mode. In 2016 all 4 modes were available (see The Halloween Map 2016). So what about 2017 ? Will we be able to play all mode? Hum, now we have the MM lobby that limit option to map choices. It is Halloween and we have a new map, how to access it?  TO propose the button above, as shown in the OP,  but it only shows DM on it. So... :ph34r:

I agree with you. Last year the map was available for CP and CTF because it was "only" x5. In 2015, it was x10 and the wap was only DM because of mults, devs said. But also, DM brings less funds, so less Golds. This is why I will barely play the Halloween map during x10 and play pro battles.

 x10 could happen for 1 day, and since it is Halloween, the decision was made for October 31st.

Last year, x5 happened saturday and sunday, and yet, the 31 was on Monday. They made a smart move in 2016.

 

But 2017, not so smart... A good thing x3 funds are on saturday :)

What I like (?) about these specials days is that now everyone goes to the shop and comes to the map drugged up and lit up like Christmas Trees.

It'll be impossible for me to kill even Wasps with M0 Smokeys. ;)

On october 29 my sick will be started ...on oct 31 x10 gold day i will make it severe and take leave from school and on nov 4 i will say i am having severe headache then I Can enjoy fund x3 ...
